Hey wait . . . I thought you were going to help me make this go on so you would know before anyone else silly

OH, Yeah, I did. I have not been eating or listening to music since we last talked. I am starved for food, company and good listening. I hope I can hold out until April.

I remember now, there was something about BB2 playing and someone with a hottub. Someone else bringing on BBQ. It will be a BB2BBQ!!!!!

Well, hello stranger!

I read that you are moving soon. I know you are going to love having less of a drive! :)

I will enjoy having the shorter drive but I will miss having everything I want to do so close around the area where I lived. Even if you didn't like the westside you have to admit there was virtually every type of restaurant or entertainment you could want there. But now I get to be closer to the water.

Have you come up with a range of dates, aside from sometime starting April 1 (which might be appropriate)

Looks like I need to clean the house. Damn. I do not have enough chairs. Anyone want to sit on laps instead?

Nope all I know is most people are busy for March, if people would like to tell me, in pm of course, what date ranges are either good or bad for them I
ll do my best :)

Okay I just have to say I love the Marqe place out on 10 and silver. Went there last night with Sean and had dinner at the Red Robin and then saw Hide and Seek at the movie. I have been way too sheltered here in Katy :)

So about the Alamo Draft House, is that the next place I should make him take me ;)

Be sure to try Cafe Adobe in the same strip. Yummy food but sadly, often a wait. Jillian's at the other end of the complex is fun too.

Alamo Draft House gets a big thumbs up from me for its novelty. The food isn't half bad either. Check their website to find some of the silly things that they do. ex: serve spaghetti and show spaghetti westerns

Maybe I should move to Houston - seems more fun there instead of the boring things going on up here LOL

Just do as I do... live in the middle of the state, and then frequently drive to where ever the action is...
I was in Austin this weekend to see the Dollywood movie "Bride & Prejudice" (Great Fun), and will be in the DFW area next weekend for some music, and probably Houston the week after, the jumping off point for Spring Break.

It is hell on a car, but I can be in some parts of town faster than some of the locals, by NOT driving through town.

Go figure

Shell;
PS I normally fuel up in the little town of West when going to Dallas, paid $1.729 last night.
Going around Austin, I have found that the Shell stations on 1325 going toward Mopac, or the Shell at Mopac and Breaker usually have the best prices... Saturday it was $1.69

I heard on NPR that the average in the gulf states is $1.92, so I feel pretty good about that.

PPS (I drive a fairly fuel efficient car, so my credit card bill is about $200... probably higher than most of you pay, but I'll bet it is in line with a couple of SUV drivers!

My CPS interview paid off today. Starting in April I will be a caseworker :)

woo hoo I'm in Houston for a whole week so does anyone know of anything goin on in the 1960 area that would be fun
