woo hoo I'm in Houston for a whole week so does anyone know of anything goin on in the 1960 area that would be fun

I don't know anything specific to 1960, but it is rodeo time in town. Perhaps that would interest you.

I've also heard that Kemah has resumed the Rock the Dock concerts but haven't looked up the details yet.

I'd say do anything to take advantage of the weather. I just saw high of 78 and 31% humidity for us today!!

Spring, ah, the shortest season in Texas. Straight from cool days to blistering hot in a week or less, it seems.

According to NOAA, the earliest 100 Degree Day in the Austin area was 101 on February 21, 1996, so some would say we are already overdue!

In more recent history, the first 100 Degree day in 2004 came only 10 days after the first 90 degree day, in May.

Bluebonnets

Well, spring is officially here... the bluebonnets are back. Of course, just outside Houston, the nice folks at A&M decided that bluebonnets, the state flower, should be maroon... how long until the bayou turns reddish to herald the coming of the state bird, the mosquito?

lol yeah cant wait for the mosquitos to start invading

They are swarming in the "bayou" behind my house. Ruins those nice cool evenings :(

Ah mosquito season. Soon we will see the trucks driving through at night with the spray. Gotta love Houston.

You just want the sun so that you go sunbathing again and have those pool parties that I never get invited to.

I was so taken by surprise. I didn't mean to scream so loudly!

Yeah but why did they keep me from flying again but you still get to go???

Oh look I am special now. I have tits.

No, that was supposed to be me with my fairy wand. If you want tits, that will have to be a special order request. Fill in the paperwork in triplicate and submit it to my attention.

Can you provide other body parts, or at least upgrades? My original factory equipment is a little substandard, compared to the boasts of most of the guys that post from Texas.

Oh how silly you are. Everyone knows EVERYTHING is BETTER in Texas!
