I think this is amazing. Sex in marriage is so extremely important and for the life of me, I don't know why some partners withhold sex as a form of punishment. I get it, I do. Sometimes we do get on each other's nerve. But work on it! Sex in marriage is so incredibly beautiful and truly solidifies the bond.

We've been married just under 26 years and aside from being apart due to careers, we try to have some form of intimacy every night. No, we don't have sex every day/night but we do try to have sex at least 3-4 times a week. Sometimes it's beautifully passionate and sometimes it's a tremendous need for sexual release, but always with love and with the intention of strengthening our relationship.

And how many of you, like me, just finally stopped after a long period of time when it was clear no reciprocation was ever going to happen?

There are people that like more to give rather that receive
I am not too crazy about receiving oral, I mean, I can take it for a bit, but that's about it. But I love giving it, get much more pleasure from the process.

As far as I know, there are at least some men like this too. They enjoy giving on its own merits, not as a payment for the replication.

I am One of them. I much prefer giving to receiving. But at some point, it just gets taken advantage of when the other partner puts zero effort into their partners pleasure even after numerous discussions. It’s not about receiving oral back, it’s about zero effort from the partner.

Yes, no visible enthusiasm gets old pretty fast. We kind of figured out how to deal with that, i. e. added activities where staying completely passive is not possible - everybody has their limits and I enjoy getting pretty damn close to his, so it works. Been married for a bit over 30 years

In the last two months, it has only been a couple of times. It is rough cause she is such a turn on. Problem is she is always on the damn phone or computer, especially when we are in bed. Sometimes all I want to do is cuddle and she has her computer wall up between us.

When we do make love, there is hardly any foreplay, just a quickie. I think she gets so horny in the moment that she want it straight away. Sadly, this caused a sad ending last time as I just was not there yet and had to stop.

Bloody phones, we have to put them down more and connect. So frustrating I hear ya buddy.
