More seriously though, it reminds me of an event I went to where they tried to color code everyone.. Much humor ensued.
The halloween party was easier, and it was interesting how the individual preferences came out in costuming.

On the color-coding - one of the munches that we go to (the only one we still attend) they do color-code. Dom/mes blue, subs red, switches green, and undecided black. It works pretty well for us ... but only while the group is small - with as many people are here posting on Lit, I can imagine it going badly quickly LOL
