As for electric or hybrids. Yep, makes more sense if you live in urban and suburban living...though luckily with the ranges extended and more charging stations, itll be mroe and more convenient for people to charge their cars if they take a longer drive.
I dont have an electric vehicle for the record.
But I do believe in preserving the environment.
I have a hybrid though.

Also, Musk was always seen as a weirdo, albeit a phenomenal innovator. A mad genius. And then more and more revelations about his past came out. Sure, people thought he was weird AF for having a kid named X Æ A-12. And likely not exactly...a good person. But with his advancements for Space X, and making an electric car that "looked good"...people were forgiving or accepting or whatever word you want to use...until yeah, he supported your side of the equation. And whether you choose to believe it or not, people would not have cared if Trump and team were more like...Bush or Reagan or McCain or someone who wasnt outwardly sexist, racist and well...a felon. Not agreeing with those presidents general beliefs and actions is different when it could still be rationalized that those individuals were still doing what was generally seen as good for the country and people AND adhering to the constitution.
