How do other AHers perceive us?

I suspect no one will really have an opinion on me except for those whom I have had regular interactions with, but in the interests of fairness and despite my inner introvert screaming bloody murder at me, I'm in for this exercise.
Fortunately, there are some of us on hand! Kind, generous, intelligent, well read and able to confidently share some insightful lived experiences that have greatly benefitted this writer. Physically fit, mature in the best way, and able to admit to liking some of the same dated music. I'm thunderstruck! And very grateful to you.

I haven't had a verbal whippin' for a while, so I'll give it a go.
I think we've misunderstood each other in interactions a couple of times, which is too bad because overall I think you're funny, respectful, experienced, and amenable to a bit of teasing 😁

devastatingly Australian
💀💀

I do think you tend to keep your opinions to yourself, or to people you let into your circle of trust, but ever so rarely I think you show a glimpse of your badassness to the larger community 🤩

You don't post very (some of us don't know when to shut up). My strongest sense of you came from a message you sent me one night when I was ranting and very frustrated with the forum. Your support that night meant a lot to me. And I think it speaks volumes for you. That you don;t even remember sending that says how much I expect you support others behind the scenes.

Everything else I think about you is to imagine you are exactly like your character in the roommate stories.

It's Friday morning here in Oz, so I'm out of synch with the thread.

I'm in.
You have a genuine appreciation of women and it gives your stories a special kind of authenticity and life.

You're always ready to help people with their difficulties in navigating Literotica. You must have answered the same questions hundreds of times!!

You're the only person who has inquired about the events I describe in my bio. That meant a lot.

You can be a tad judgemental and a tad condescending.

You write really, really well.

You display a genuine interest in a wide variety of people even getting involved in collaborations.

You've been most generous and insightful in your interest in me and my writing, even though it's not to your taste. I'm so glad to have met you.

P.S. I wrote this last night. Only now do I see that I never posted it.

At one point I thought that English wasn't your first language due to some speech patterns that came across as awkward. At least, until, I discovered that you were the same age as my grandmother and then they didn't seem that out of place.
Fascinating!! If you should happen to stumble across another such construction (maybe this sentence here?????), would you DM me, or reply to this post?

Oh, and thanks for making me think of my grandmother now every time I read one of your stories.
And may I direct you to this recent post by me in the author's notebook thread. :)

*pokes her head up*

I'm in. Fire away. What's the worst that can happen...?

*ducks back down* :)

While I appreciate the positive words, I should point out that I haven't said I'm in for this thread. I got enough compliments in the other version, and like I noted there I assume that any posters who are likely to say negative things about me probably have me on Ignore anyway.
Seeing as you offered a comment on another AHer (post #16 of this thread), I presumed you "were in."

No problem, but like I mentioned, I'd already had the feedback in the other thread. That was me doing a courtesy to the thread starter, who I have a vague fondness for.

The mattress in the back of my Subaru is aired up and ready! We're going on a road trip, it will get weird!
I don;t know if you read my winter event story, but my FMC talks about her Subaru too. Her name was Jenny -- hey J is just an unfinished upside down P...

I will now envision you as Jenny (just not as bitchy).

(If you are curious about the character, read the beginning of the story. It opens up with her getting her dog Bilbo into her Subaru.)
