How do you measure up?

Hey, all,
I'm gonna make you a once in a lifetime offer, if you're interested.

I've been looking at my posts, and the posts of others (the ones with 10,000 replies and such) and I was wondering: what's a good number of responses to get? What about number of views? Is there a relationship there? does it matter what gender the poster is? Does it matter if the poster has a pic (of themselves) in the profile?
The thing is, that I can run the statistical analysis on that kind of stuff (NERD ALERT!).

The question is: How curious are you about how you measure up?

Here's how I'm thinking of doing this: I can put the numbers in a spreadsheet on GoogleDocs, and make it available to all.

You can PM me and point out a thread..heck, if you're feeling self conscious, cause you don't wanna have people know how self centered you are, you can point out 2 or 3 threads, I don't care. I guess the real question is: how much of an exhibitionist are you really?

Any takers? Or have I just exposed myself as some huge NERD, thus guaranteeing that no one on this forum will ever PM me again?

OH, also: if you misread the title, and would just wanna show off (interpret that any way you want) feel free to do so below.

I admit, I read the title and made the (incorrect) assumption about the thread topic. However when I read the preview of the topic I immediately began thinking of how to do a statistical analysis and all the possible variables and correlations to consider. Honestly, I do that kind of stuff for fun...(I have probably just exposed myself as a huge NERD, but that's not really a secret)

I am comfortable enough with my "nerdy-ness" to not care who sees, but more input would be interesting. You can never have too much data

Amen to that...although, after a certain point, you wind up in data mining territory...I hated data mining as a class....much as it's an interesting topic.

I'm not that vapid...if I start a thread and it garners little replies, it's not a big deal. I've got a life off of Lit.

And that's perfectly cool. The question came to me out of statistical curiosity more than anything else....but I must admit thinking that it'd be fun to see who'd ask for help.

Amen to that...although, after a certain point, you wind up in data mining territory...I hated data mining as a class....much as it's an interesting topic.

It is an interesting topic and I enjoy drilling down to get some really good stuff. I have to do some db mgmt for my job, but in general I hate having to mess with it. I just like analyzing and stratigizing with the results
