How long do story edits take to get out of pending?

It varies, like everything else. My experience has been an average approaching three weeks, so much longer than new stories.

I did manage to beg Laurel for a quick turnaround edit in November because of the center rendering bug had made my Winter Holiday entry nearly unreadable. Thet one only removed the center tags and went through in about a day.

It's clearly a different queue than the new stories go through, in terms of order of processing. I get the sense that Laurel pulls a bunch of the edit queue every once in a while.
