New Pinned Thread "Story Pending For More Than 72 Hours."

My non-erotic story still in pending purgatory since 10/18. It was originally in pending purgatory on 9/08. I waited 5 weeks before deleting and submitting as new with note to the reviewer on 10/18

I just went in and checked and the option to delete a story from Pending or Draft has been removed

Just checked. Thanks for catching that. The only option would be to submit the story again with a new title. The removal of the deletion button heavily indicates a problem with the cms

It came back again - that wsa while ago that happened

I've published 25 stories with no problem over the past couple of years. But I now have a new story stuck in Pending for eight weeks! Yeah 8 weeks! I've sent in a couple of inquiries directly to Literotica and no response and no movement on my story.
I've seen many stories published by authors I follow in the past two months so I don't know why they won't look at mine. I don't know what to do.
In the meantime I'm looking around for an alternative naughty story site and there are quite a few!
I kinda hate to leave Literotica so if anyone has a suggestion to nudge my story along I'd lover to hear it.
Is like to know where else as well. maybe I won't give up completely?

I just uploaded a story for the third time. The first time, I waited four weeks. The second time, I uploaded it together with another story and waited three weeks. Both times, all the stories remained stuck in pending purgatory. Now, I've uploaded them as Word-Documents. Let's see if that makes any difference. Of course, I sent feedback each time, but as always, no response there.

What sites are people moving to? It's obvious the issues on this site won't be addressed.
I like the security here on Lit, but I guess you can turn off DMs and chat on Substack? The problem is cutting through the noise. Anyone try AO3? Medium is just right out.

I'd hate to leave, but this is beyond annoying at this point. You pour so much of yourself into these stories only to have this wall preventing readership...

I have 4 pending. One since 10/22, two since 11/12, and one since 11/21.

Deleting that first one and resubmitting on 10/22 it didn't do any good.

What's probably happening is that the AI filter is flagging all of my stories... and they are stuck until someone reviews them and publishes them.

I've read where some authors are adding in errors to their stories to make it obvious that it's a human. So, maybe I should be flattered?

I'm really really frustrated is what I am.

I tried to put out an "author's update" as a non-fiction story to reach my readers and let them know what's going on, but that was rejected as not allowed. Any ideas on how to actively reach my readers?

An update in your bio will trigger a notification to your followers, so I'd start there.

Very possible. The AI filter began well before the late summer issues. Likely in response to a huge increase in submissions. That surge may be ongoing, and the AI filter settings are being tweaked. It is getting harder to believe this is just a queuing bug.

I simply put a dated bullet point of “I am still trying…” or “I have resubmitted, please understand…”

Sadly nothing is working, stuck in Pending Status hell, the same storylines submitted three times.

I've gotten min back three times now with the same, generic, "underage content" advisory even though I identify all my characters as being 18 or above and have gone over them with a fine tooth comb looking for any mention of even an errant thought of fantasy from any of them that might allude to an underage fantasy. There is none.

It's clear that the reviewers (when they actually review) are rubberstamping to save time and not really looking at the stories.

I've had enough. I think I'm going to go to A03, though I'll check out Stories Online and Lush Stories as well.

Have you tried having a third party look over your story? Because if not, someone else might catch the stray word or phrase(s) that might be getting flagged. If you haven't tried already, feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to go through it for you.

Just saying that "everyone is over 18" isn't sufficient if you use any words like "baby girl", "little princess", things like that that an automated checked might pick up on.

Thank you for the offer. I appreciate it.
Seems I can't attach it here unless its a jpeg or png file. Do you have an email I could send it to?
Honestly though, if it's something that small, especially when there's tons of stories already on the site that use exactly that kid of language, I'm not going to try again. Something is rotten in Denmark and it ain't my writing.

Hello. My last four chapters have been pending for 10 days, and my series approval for 15 days. I've therefore made a change to the accompanying text for the reviewers and restarted the validation process. I hope this will resolve the situation. Have a good day everyone. PS: My first nine chapters are already online.

every story i post is stuck in pending (without being sent back to me) for a month. It's been taking longer and longer every month.

Honestly, it makes me want to stop publishing here because I publish them elsewhere too, and usually that works so much faster that I have moved on to other stories by the time my literotica stories get published

I've been having the same issue. I tried posting a new story back in February. After a couple of weeks sitting in pending, I decided to try deleting it and reposting it. I reposted it Mar 13 and it's still sitting in pending. I made sure not to even go into the pending story just in case that reset the queue. I tried contacting support a few weeks ago but no response.

Not sure what is happening, I have over 60 published stories, but since the end of February, all my stories have been stuck in pending for weeks, sometimes months, and nothing is getting published. Very frustrating as my followers are asking for new chapters that are written but stuck.

Is there an email address for the site admin to find out why they are stuck?
