How Many Days Until Spring - 2025

I enjoy Spring and Summer over Fall and Winter. This year, I told myself to not be such an old grouch and enjoy the Winter. Mother Nature rewarded me by smacking me upside the head with a Polar Vortex.

Every day, I'll come in and post the number of days until Spring. Along the way, I'll share a picture or some words about the long process of Spring gradually pushing Winter out the door.

Today, it's 55 Days until Spring.

For now, Winter has a strong grip, so I'm staying inside where it's warm......

Those look like my temps for the week. I'm just thankful the Arctic-like temps have moved out. I think I need to move further South.

I visit the same site, watching the countdown while 55 mph winds are destroying my siding.

It’s been brutal here today. White out conditions and 50+ MPH wind gusts. Single digit lows this week and highs in the 20’s. Spring cannot get here quickly enough.

-29°C (-20°F) Windchill after close to a meter (3 feet) of snow fell this week... my neighbourhood legit looks like Hoth and I would not be surprised if a tauntaun scampered past.
