I think if you felt like you were getting used, that probably had more to do with it than anything. That's unfortunate.

For me, I probably wouldn't go more than 10-15 years over my own age, but that depends on how well the person takes care of themselves, etc.

There are unlikely to be any women significantly older than me who are still capable of physical sex.

I would be uncomfortable having a serious relationship with a woman significantly younger than me. Our life experiences are likely to have been so radically different that being on the same wavelength would be difficult.

As a younger son of a younger son, the older relations I knew when growing up were born well before 1900. They had time for me when my parents' generation were busy, so my first exposure to music, for example, was to songs popular in the 1890s to 1910s.

Would my formative experiences and tastes established then mean anything to a woman 20 or 30 years later? I find a disconnect in conversation with women even as little as 10 years younger.
