Last time I checked my copy of The Feminist Handbook, I was told not to view women as children or creatures devoid of the capacity for independent thought and decision making skills.
I have no problem with this concept.
But I do find myself wondering whether some of the people on this thread expressing hostility toward Marquis truly believe that this concept is valid.
Women are either adults with the capacity for self-determination, or they are not. Which is it, folks?
And if you believe it is the former, then where is the basis for moral criticism of a man who engages his partners without deception or force?
Recidiva made reference to a thread and I went looking for it. (It was before my time at Lit, but the Cowboy's tutorial efforts have paid off.) And what I found was a very clear violation of the first element of that creed.
I also found evidence that hints at the possibility that the behavior you describe here might actually be self-destructive to a certain degree.
Feel free to disagree, of course. But you mentioned that brutal honesty is a theme of this thread, so I'm giving my brutally honest opinion.

Marquis,Marquis said:Many of my sexual desires tend to be on the darker side and I have always enjoyed learning about BDSM and being a part of the BDSM community. The moral creedo of the BDSM community is to always play Safe, Sane and Consensually, and I obey these laws in my sexual life without exception.
