I am Music

Have y'all be turned on to Pandora Radio yet?

You type in the name of a artist you are in the mood for and it does a search and creates a station just for you.

Right now I am listening to my own Townes VanZandt inspired station. The cool thing is you can hear musicians that are not on the map (or at least not in bold print) but are good and match the style of the artist you chose. AND there is an option to click and learn more about the artist that is playing.

It is tres cool. Safe. No viruses. No frills Smooth.

You can give songs thumbs up or thumbs down and the program remembers and picks more songs that it thinks you will like.

You can make multiple channels for different moods, etc.

way kool

I just created some buddha bar...:)

Thanks Anna-banana. I have to check it out. I've been using Slacker Radio, which has a few jazz channels so I can set it to jazz and let it go for hours. But more music, especially more jazz, makes me a happy poet chick. :)

ahhh...that was like a shot to the veins. i've always loved this song. Bonnie's and Nancy Wilson's are my favorite renditions. but then, either one of them could sing the listings in the yellow pages, and get a 'standing o' from me.
A Sassy sighting is always music.

Love Resurrection

brand new lover makes me bounce to this play...:)

Your video reminded me of when I lived in England from 1980-87. The glam bands were big- Human League, Spandau Ballet, Kajagoogoo, and of course Duran Duran.

This is one of my favorite songs ever, and this woman's vice is astounding.
I am certain if not for her weight she would have been an international star. Sadly the US is too image oriented when it comes to music, and too many people missed out on a wonderful voice.

thanks for the new artist

her voice reminded me of my mom growing up listening to her singing to the
record player and pretending to be Patsy....ty...

Has anyone else seen this? I must admit that, like Chris Matthews when he first saw Obama speak, I watched this and got a tingle up my leg. :D
