A Very Nice Vase .....lol because I am way to demure to be viewing this stuff ...

Hmmn all that quiet pondering 'research' paid off today for those here that enjoy
well drawn erotica thats of a very hardcore nature. I can't save and post each panel because frankly I do not believe the Host Company would permit most of the imagery and I have no wish to lose everything I have with them currently.

I am pleading that my only interest in this is for artistic reasons and Erich von Gotha 's superb drawing style. IE ' A very nice vase'........winks

If you go to http://www.zenskaveznice.cz/galerie.php?last=20&id=200 you will find there are 4 pages with approximately 20 story panels on each, running down the central page (the site is not in English). Click on each one individually will be bring them up to full viewing clarity, including script in english. Quite frankly I am not sure it was wise to bite the prison guard on his 'manhood' so hard blood spurts across the room ..........oh my.

Bon Appetite and ohhh as I was demure, sweet and generous enough to share would it kill you to leave some feedback huh huh .......

While procrastinating yesterday, I read a very interesting article by slave david stein on the origins of the SSC slogan. The excerpt below is his conclusion, followed by a Supplement he provided giving various definitions of the terms 'safe', 'sane', and 'consensual'......

That’s the historical and personal context in which "safe sane consensual" emerged: overcoming fear, shame, and silence to learn what we need to know to make our own choices. On the whole, i think the phrase has served us well — and it can continue to do so if we don’t try to make it do jobs it was never designed for. Chanting "safe sane consensual" like a mantra can’t save you from a bad scene or a bad relationship, and it can’t replace the years of study and practice that guide an experienced top or bottom, dominant or submissive through the maze of choices both must confront. While "safe, sane, and consensual" may suggest the outlines of an S/M ethics, actually articulating one will take a lot more work than coining a useful slogan. But it’s a start.

SUPPLEMENT

Here are a few pertinent texts by other authors, reprinted by permission; copyright retained by the authors. Comments in brackets are mine. — d.s.

SAFE, SANE, CONSENSUAL

by Gil Kessler (gilkessler@worldnet.att.net)

[Gil is a longtime Board member of GMSMA and for many years was president. While his formulations are not "official" GMSMA policy, they have been widely disseminated and formed the basis of those in the "S/M vs. Abuse" statements adopted at previous Leather Leadership Conferences. This most recent version, however, seems to rule out "consensual nonconsensuality" — which is important not only for S/M edgeplayers but also for lifestyle dominants and submissives — purely by definition.]

SAFE is being knowledgeable about what you’re doing.

This means knowing your equipment and how to use it, and knowing your partner and how to keep him healthy both physically and psychologically.

SANE is knowing the difference between fantasy and reality.

And observing that difference. You may know how to do something, and even get consent for it, but it may be best left for one-handed reading.

CONSENSUAL is respecting the limits imposed by each participant.

Consent is an ongoing right, and can be withdrawn at any time. Thus you cannot consent to give up the right of consent! "You can do anything you want to me, even if I really want you to stop" is a statement that only an irresponsible top would take seriously.

SAFE SANE CONSENSUAL: DEFINITIONS

by Tammad Rimilia www.ms.ha.md.us/~tammad/over21/essays/safe_sane_consensual.html

[These are extracted from a longer discussion of the concepts that is well worth seeking out online. Tammad is a longtime player in the Baltimore-Washington area who is especially known for his bondage skills — he was unable to be with us today because of a prior commitment to teach a bondage workshop.]

SAFE. That all parties to the activity have considered the potential risks involved, and have decided that the risk is ACCEPTABLE TO THEM.

SANE. That all parties are engaging in this activity by direct intention and can judge the effects of their actions.

CONSENSUAL. That all parties have consented to being involved in the activity. Consent might be given for every scene, or in more long-running relationships this consent might be given just once, at the beginning of the relationship, to cover all subsequent activity.

SSC: DEFINITIONS

by Scott from APEX (Arizona Power EXchange), a.k.a. NoCyberDom online

[Extracted from a post on the sm-activists list. While the formulations for "safe" and "sane" are not especially useful, and indeed may be considered circular, the "sub parts" 1) and 2) for "consensual" make important points.]

Safe: Safe from unreasonable risk of physical injury.

Sane: Safe from unreasonable risk of mental, emotional or psychological harm.

Consensual (3 sub parts): Consent of all parties involved must be given of their own free will.

1) Involved parties does include spouses or significant others of participants who may not be participating themselves. This statement is meant to clearly show that if a person is cheating on their spouse or significant other that this is not condoned. The reason that this is not condoned is that, in SSC BDSM, trust is the most important factor and if a person is cheating on their life partner then it is unreasonable to think anyone else could truly trust them.

2) To give consent an individual must be of legal age to make decisions on their own behalf, not have been deemed mentally incompetent to make legal decisions on their own behalf and not be under the effects of chemical substances that would inhibit their ability to make decisions. In short: no kids, no booze or drugs and the mentally impaired cannot give consent. If a person is truly incapable of making a sane decision then they are covered by this.

3) Neither animals nor the deceased can communicate consent.

I missed the typo in the GIF file it must have been the dangling heart thingy and the girlyness and stuff made my brain go into girly mode and just enjoy the bling factor may also be the fact it was near 4 am and I was dealing with 'tha patient' for the 30th time last night. Nooooooooo thats way to harsh I am going with the girly version because it sounds oh well more 'girly'........lol

I will read ALL the information you have provided above with interest as soon as I am fully awake here.

Hi Miss Rebecca!

I stayed up till 2 am in part because I was reading A Very Special Prison or whatever the name of that is. I was actually able to make out the words which is rare for such a thing. That particular title was right up my alley.

I WANT to be a Fireflower! BUT the "Sadists" seemed like they just wanted to fuck. *sigh*

Thanks for sharing this with us. I may return if I have time and read another one. I wish my library had The Story of O. I have not read or seen it but I keep hearing about it, that's making me curious.

hello :rose: Miss Fury :rose:

For the Story of O try second hand book dealers for english copies . Both of mine were purchased inexpensively and quickly that way. There are always DVD dealers on Ebay selling the movie however it usually comes as a two movie set . The original and the sequel. The sequel 'sucked manifestly'.......smiles. I enjoyed the first movie but it is what it is and thats fiction. Costuming etc is yum at the start if you like that kind of thing as I do.

I purchased and viewed the movie as a 'reference' but I will admit to liking it much more than I imagined not matter how far removed from reality, there are a few scenes that 'touched base' with me , quite emotive at times. Strangely enough they were 'looks' not the scenes some may find more pleasure in a cliched sense I guess. (two above in fact) Well worth viewing as you are so profound in your search for overall knowledge Miss Fury.

Speaking of which Raven I am wading my way through the Fountainhead currently and Venus In Furs. Not sure what it is about Australia but these genre of books just sit collecting dust in the second hand book traders . I am like a kid in a candy store when it gets to perceived" Dark Sections' . Inexpensive and apparently have been on the shelves forever. Its like Christmas for me !!!! Just finished reading a Little Birds by Anais Nin and loved it . Will definately be seeking to purchase and read more of her work.

@}-}rebecca----

PS I know I should come over to the Book Thread but I don't do well at 'task' reading for some reason. I have been watching there from time to time though.

It's on my list now, the book that is, not the movie. What is the movie rated? Anything over R I don't usually want to see. (I'm a good girl ya know and anyway, I prefer words to most images.)

I like being thought of as profound in my search for overall knowledge. *hugs*

Of course you would be very welcome in the books for pleasure thread! Should you decide you want to come!

Thank you,

Its rated R :rose: Miss Fury :rose: I imagine it was X rated when originally released though by todays standards of censorship really an R is more than sufficient.

Thank you for the invite I will in fact make it over to the Books for Pleasure Thread when I have finished reading the ones I have ongoing here now ....smiles :rose:

You should be able to pick up The Story of O at any Barnes and Noble or Borders. If you live in a large city one of the public libraries might have it.

The film would probably get an NC-17 not because it's explicit but because it's so suggestive. The nudity isn't extreme, but the entire film is about sexuality which will get you banned in Boston quicker than a sea of gore. I mean, we're talking about a country where you have to go on a public list as a sex offender for the rest of your life for having sex with your 16 yo girlfriend but once you serve your time for murder nobody has to know that you don't want to tell.

Yep, in the good ol' US of A we thing sex is worse than murder.

I have neither read the book nor seen the movie, so I can't comment on whether the rating is appropriate. However, I note that the DVD is rated X:

Btw.... Miss Fury, if you are looking for a copy of the book, you will find both new & used copies here:

Did you see this story? Unbelievable....

On a more lighthearted note.....

The UK apparently has moments of prudishness too......

Australian advert banned on UK TV

British regulators have banned an advert aimed at luring tourists to Australia due to its use of a mild swear word, Tourism Australia says.
The headline for the commercial, which features Australians drinking and frolicking on the beach, is "So where the bloody hell are you?".

As a result, the word "bloody" will be cut for the advert when shown on UK TV, according to Tourism Australia.

LOL.......

What really amuses me about this story is the fact that the "bloody hell" phrase is used in all of the Harry Potter books and films.

Perhaps the British censors don't read children's books......

This kind of thing is happening all over the place. We're just stupid about sex in this country. We're completely obsessed by it but in total denial so we don't speak openly or realistically about it. Consequently we have a high rate of sexually transmitted disease, a high rate of teen pregnancy and an extremly high rate of sex crimes both because we have a lot of sexual violence and also because we've criminalized the most innocent and natural of sexual relations.

And I don't see things getting better, although, they might now that South Dakota's gone and really screwed the pooch for the Religious Right's main issue.

I always forget that it's such a naughty word. I mean, I hear it so often that it never occurs to me that it's as bad as "fuck" or something. I don't suppose it is, but I was surprised when they started being able to say "goddamn" and "bitch" on the radio.

I heard a segment this morning that I'm astounded they got away with. It was bleeped every other word but you still knew exactly what was being said. I wasn't offended, but I thought it was a little over the top for 7am. Plus, I couldn't believe, literally couldn't believe they kept going with it. They were kind of jumping all over one of their regular morning guys just the other day because they thought he was being too graphic in his description about something but he really wasn't. He was being fairly clinical but it wasn't suggestive or anything. This segment this morning was all about "ride my cock and put my cock up her ass and beat her about the face with my cock" etc and even with the bleeps you knew what was being said. I mean, come on. At 7am on a Monday morning on a major radio station syndicated across the US? Are you shitting me?

Anyway, I'm all for freedom of speech but just because you CAN say something doesn't mean you ought to say it.

I have no idea why it's considered naughty. I looked up the definition, and all I found was: Chiefly British Slang. Used as an intensive

Nice word choice. Very apropos.... ;)

Agreed.

alice_underneath said:

Honestly, I think they've really screwed up. They didn't truly think about what it would mean to get such a ban. Now they're having to answer some very tricky questions.

Clearly they've lied. Clearly a fertilized egg is NOT a baby. Clearly an embryo is not a baby. They've passed a law that says so. They've passed a law that says it's not murder for a doctor to terminate a pregnancy and it's not murder for hire for a woman to pay a doctor to do it.

Some of the loudest oppoents to the current law are Pro-Life proponents who would approve a law that makes exceptions for cases of rape and incest. Clearly those people believe that the mother's chastity is what determines the sanctity of the baby's life. If the mother's a whore then the baby's life is sacred. If the mother is chaste and didn't want to have sex then she gets to terminate her pregnancy.

They haven't rushed forward to impose fines and penalties against pregnant women for smoking, drinking and otherwise abusing their health and thereby commiting acts of child endangerment. Nor has anyone argued that pregnant women should be allowed to drive in the carpool and HOV lanes.

So, this thing in South Dakota has opened a serious can of worms for the Pro-Life movement, but additionally it's sent a wake-up call to the Pro-Choice movement as well.

Roe v. Wade could be overturned. We shouldn't rely on the law alone to protect our rights to our bodies and our freedom of religion from zealots.

Now that we've gotten to the point where we're doing with drugs what we used to do exclusively with surgery, now that word has gotten out that we can do with regular birth control pills what we thought we had to have a prescription for, we are better armed. The knowledge is there. It needs to be disseminated and not just to our friends and sisters and daughters but to our brothers and sons as well.

So long as a safe and effective means can be denied or confiscated then we are at the mercy of others. If we take that safe and effective means into our own hands and it becomes a common knowledge then it cannot be denied to us or confiscated. But it all comes down to knowlegde ---- which is one of the reasons they don't want kids to learn any kind of real Sex Ed in schools.
