A great one tonight

Standing outside in my white sundress watching the line of black clouds moving closer and closer. Then when the wind picks up closing my eyes and letting the wind roll over me, enjoying the power and intensity of mother nature. The gusts so strong that they push me and I have to take a step back. Suddenly the sky opens up and the rain gushes down and over my body. Leaning me head back and just letting it wash over me till my hair is soaked and my dress is clung to my body. Reaching my hands up in the air and dancing in circles in the rain.

God I love a great storm. I feel so alive now

We're about to get one too, I hear the distant thunder. I love them, and they make for great sleeping! They also make the earth smell so very good.

Beautiful images through beautiful words. I feel alive as well. ;)

still rumbling outside, I would share it if I could :) Time to go try to enjoy the great post thunderstorm sleep. Sweet dreams everyone

This would be the one time I would rather not encounter a thunder storm. Flying home in a couple of hours and planes and storms don't mix.

After 4PM, storm away!

Could use one today...sitting on the patio watching the lightning crash...the rain fall...:)

I was talking about something exactly like this with a friend the other day. Your words my dear describe it perfectly. Waiting for the next storm..

I love a thunderstorm having sex in a house on a beach or a lake with a metal roof. The rain can give off it's own erotic music.

You're right...open the windows...light some candles...a very sexy atmosphere...

Spot on papa. I like how the rain can give you little breaks of lovemaking when it relents to sprinkling........and then increase to fucking with the crescendo of a downpour.

Had a jim-dandy one roll thru here about two hours ago. With half-inch hail. We haven't had a hailstorm here in years.

And as I was typing that, I heard another roll of thunder.

One ripped through just a few hours ago, then we got a crazy ass orange sky. I thought the aliens were coming for Michiganders.

No thunderstorm, but the fireworks way out in the distance sound like the soft roll of thunder, harbinger of a steady, heavy rain.

It's the only thing I don't like about this holiday - all the teasing of downpour with little actual rain.

Scratch that last post - had a thunderstorm with thunder loud enough to shake the house last night. Even lost power for a few hours.

It was a incredible one. :)

We have the teasing of distant occasional thunder and dark skies. I am hoping we get at least a little storm out of it.
