I Miss...

I miss my b/f when he is away, I miss his cuddles & even though he irritates the hell out of me and we argue a bit I just miss him being here

I miss the SUN on my beach during the just completed morning run......actually since it was raining, it felt more like a morning trudge; each step allowing the wet sand to cling to my running shoes........6 miles felt like 60 !!!

I miss the way he made my heart race....
I miss the way I felt when he is near...
I miss him but am too stubborn to admit it...
I miss many things but will never let him hear...

I miss the time we used to have to spend together...talking, not talking, listening to music or just holding hands.

I know this isn't along the sexual lines typical, but I really miss the blues man, who cleaned his life up with drugs and alcohol. He is one of the most talented guitarist to ever pick up a guitar. His music and vision was phenomenal. He was always known best with his sultry laid back blues style. His wife Lenny was his inspiration she stood by him thick and thin. This blues man helped influence so many musicians. On October the 3rd in 1954 the world unknowingly was blessed with one of the most influential guitarist to ever bless the blues stage. And Tragically on August the 27th 1990 he was taken from our hearts and ears, although he had a premonition of his death on August the 25th in 1990.

I miss Stevie Ray Vaughn........R.I.P Oct 3 1954- -August 27th 1990

This is for you...I wonder if you will read it? I am writing it here because...well, just because.

I've thought about sending you a PM to say this, but in complete contrast to my typical self, I'm not really interested in entering a dialogue with you. Since I am actually who I have always said I was, I have not considered chasing you down on a thread to point out your all-too-familiar euphemisms and half-truths. I have not considered using any of hte other methods of contact that we shared.

But - with everything else going on in my life, this is one of the frustrations, the avoidable dramas, that I can actually think through enough to know what I think. And what do I think? Well, to say that the way you behaved was disappointing is such an understatement that it almost makes me laugh. To say that you showed yourself to be someone completely different than the person you assured me for so very long that you were is equally understated. Both are true, but they don't even begin to express the depth of my disappointment and sadness.

I'm not angry, or devastated and I'm certainly not crushed - I'm simply sad and disappointed that everything you said to me must have beed edged in the glitter of untruth. I'm disappointed that a person I admired so much is apparently not much more than an outline. And that makes me sad because knowing there was a person such as you in the world made it a little sweeter place.

Be well, of course. I still wish you nothing but good things.

*wanders out fully aware that stompage is only temporary*
