I Miss...

I miss the thrill of new episodes of Battle Star Galactica. (The new version, and yes I am that kind of geek.)

I miss having wild dirty outrageous sexual chats with my online lovers

I miss how simple life used to be

I miss being 21 and so hopeful for my future

Oh how I miss the freedom of childhood summers.

I miss my absolute ignorance of time. Our only parameters of summer days were running out the door after breakfast and not having to return until either the street lights came on or a parent yelled your name. I miss the naivete of chasing the mosquito sprayers without worrying about cancer. I miss not having any responsibilities.

I miss the days when problems were solved with Eenie Meenie Miney Mo.

I miss the days when telling a child to go outside and play - unsupervised - didn't result in jail time for the parent for being neglectful.
