I think unless you've had one yourself, it's easy to discount an online relationship. People put too much emphasis on physicality as reality - if you've not physically touched someone, you must not be real to them. Or they to you.

Anyone who's had one knows this is not true. If someone lives in your heart, it doesn't matter what the physical distance is or isn't. There they are.

That's my theory.

And I can agree with this 100 percent. Sometimes whether either one wants it or not, they live within your heart. Every beat a reminder of what blossomed within,what was,what could have been,and what will never be. They're there, Always. The ones that meant the most to you.
