If I were to say that I’ve been wearing a bunny costume today, what image would it bring to mind?

It was probably more like a large version of your daughter’s. They picked me as they needed someone who could fit in it!

It wasn’t exactly that shape-hugging!

I can imagine! My daughter is now older than you (dear child :)), but still wears a onesie in winter. Exceedingly practical, she tells me.

I guess that’s fair with my Hentai avatar 😊
I am shocked - SHOCKED that I'm the only one so far to make that connection.

In my first Geek Pride entry I explored what would happen if a United States Marine met up with an actual real life anime style bunny girl

The word 'costume' in the thread title, and the onset of Easter, took my mind directly to an image of a full-coverage humanoid rabbit suit for the entertainment of egg-hunting kids. For whatever reason, my categorization of what Playboy Club servers wore is more in line with words like 'uniform' or 'outfit,' because the club was a workplace and the servers were at work.

Yeah, I'm no fun at all. Even in my youth, however, I was able to draw a distinction between displays of flesh that were necessary to a person's livelihood (which I might appreciate to some extent) and displays specifically for the benefit of me, carried out because the displayer was eager to do so, and continue to physical activity (which we both really, really appreciated).

"Bury your feelings deep down, Juan. They do you credit, but they could be made to serve Hugh Hefner.

I can't believe no-one's posted this one yet. It always seems to crop up in my feed around Easter (or maybe I just have a strange feed).

I don't think you having a strange feed is either beyond the realm of comprehension or exclusionary...
I also think the bunny suit in the picture is strong evidence that just because we can imagine something does not mean we should implement that idea That could just be me, though...

Why is it always cats or rabbits? What is it about those two animals that make women look so darn sexy when then dress up as them?

There's probably an inverse relationship between how hot a woman looks in a particular kind of costume, and how hot a man looks in the same kind.

As borne out by the pics shown above.

My feed is made up of a mad scientist's Venn diagram of things that I think are interesting and all the various topics I look up as part of my professional editing work (this month: porpoises, elite soccer, taxes in the Caribbean, criminal law, education policy and probably two dozen other topics).

Back in the 70s (judging from the picture), "good enough" was generally good enough.
