If you could have...

the first one to come to mind was Friday, from the Robert Heinlein book of the same name...must have been the reference to Stranger that did it..

Hey, Bel....

Jamie Fraser, that I mentioned above, is a red-headed highlander in a kilt. ;)

Who can choose only one?!

Duncan McLeod (Adrian Paul) from the series The Highlander. Although not truly Scottish, I’d make due with a fake accent and his kilt-clad thighs.

Constable Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) from the series Due South. I could melt some snow with this one. I truly loved his character: Smart, intuitive, honest, loyal, and even a bit quirky. Could you imagine being loved by someone like that? I quiver at the thought.

I reserve the right to add to or modify this list at any time in the future. :D

Nice choice, McK!

I can't believe I forgot these guys! LKH's Damian the vampire. Why, I don't know, but I'm intrigued by his character.

Mulder: I would love to lie on my back and watch the stars with Mulder.

Apollo from the new BG: He's got depth, courage, good looks, and he's got a bit of the rebel in him.

And Mal from Firefly because he's so bloody funny. Even Jane, sorta, on my big dumb bunny days.

And Ian from Witchblade … I think he's misunderstood, too.

Bob from the original, and Michael from the TV version of La Femme Nikita. Very complex in my little mind, both of them.

Ione Saldana from the Night's Dawn Trilogy, by Peter F. Hamilton.

Rich, beautiful, compassionate, sexual. The kind of intelligence that plans ahead for several centuries... Utterly Royal. :)

I knew in the depths of my memory there would be one....

Edison Carter from Max Headroom.

He was funny, cute, and brave.

I think of all fictional people, thats the one I've remebered the longest.

I would say Melanie Wilkes from GWTW. The character from the book but in the form of Olivia DeHaviland from the movie.

He was a terrific character. And she was a doll, too, can't remember her name!

Amanda Pays was the actress. She was very yummy.

Can't remember the character's name though.

"How can you tell when a network executive is lying… lying… lying? His lips… lips… move… move." And that was the end of Max Headroom.

I would have to say Frost from Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry Series.

Wow I totally do not read at the same level as y'all

Are you serious? That was the reason? I always wondered!

That was my opinion Stella. When I saw that scene, I knew the series was over.

TV executives are not blessed with a sense of irony or humour.

And that lovely, plummy British accent. Mmmmm. :D

Don't get me started!

Antonio Banderas character in Desperado.

Darren Morfitt's character 'Spoon' from Dog Soldiers

Johnny Depp in full Captain Jack costume... OH MA GAWWD!!!

Geordie Johnson in his 'Dracula: The Series' days.

From IMDB

Theora Jones

I LOVED that show, although I am sure I was not the target demographic. I can't believe it was from 1985! For a show I haven't seen since I was 11, I recall a lot of it.

Oh, I love LKH. Although I haven't started on Merry Gentry yet. (I'm still working on Anita Blake.)
