If you plan to vote for a Democrat...

I want Obama to be the Democrap nominee so that I can hear the Repubicans explain how "experience is better" after watching Them for the last eight years. You have to suck bad to fuck up that much. I don't even think Hillary could fuck up that much but I just don't want to have to look at her for the next four years. What a plastic bitch. I predict she will be the next President. :inserts earplugs:

I doubt it. Any Dem candidate who's not a total asshat (STFU, busybody) is going to make him look like an utter chump because of his absolutely laughable flip-flopping on core issues.

That is so true.

I know I will flamed for saying this but don't count Ron Paul out. This man has a HUGE following. He could be the Rep candidate.

Well in Michigan there are only 3 candidates on the Democratic Primary ballot.. and even then the delagates don't count towards the nomination......

Hillary will win in Michigan by a landslide though......

Now I gotta trust all you fuckers to nominate John Edwards because I don't have a fuckin' say in what candidate gets chosen............

He certainly has the most fervent, vocal supporters, but he's going to have to do more than they have thus far if he really wants to win the nomination, as the polls in Iowa reflect. Republican voters don't seem ready for him.

I feel sorry for the next president. Whether Republican or Democrat, it’s going to be an incredibility difficult job to step into and try to fix the mess of the last 8 years. It's sad, real sad.

sorta "funny" that its OK to SHIT on Mormons

and say ONE WORD about Muslims and you get BRANDED RACIST etc

So calling attention to Obama's middle name and implying he was educated at some kind of terrorist training camp didn't happen then?

I'm only vaguely aware that he's even still in the race.

He's still there, and still the best candidate in the entire field, IMO.

I doubt it. Any Dem candidate who's not a total asshat (STFU, busybody) is going to make him look like an utter chump because of his absolutely laughable flip-flopping on core issues.

I hope you're right.

Mitt is too easy to paint as a loony tune. Not as bad as Huckabee, but still...

Sure is.

Muslim isn't a race.

And yet somehow, he still gets called a racist for hating a religion. Not that the hating is justified.

Richardson is the only one of the Democrats I would even consider voting for. Can't abide Billary, Obama is running on the Oprah factor and not much else, Edwards is a twat, Kucinich is a moronic twat and the rest are just plain "wtf" go away.

The 'Pubs are even worse - Romney and McCain are RINOs, Huckabitch is a nutjob, Giulani has Mien Kamph as his bedside reader and the rest are "wft" go away.

WTF is a RINO?

The title of this thread identifies the major problem in american politics - too many people vote party and not person.

Doing so, leaves no room to bitch when a politician votes party rather than people.

As speculation intensifies in Iowa about whether Bill Richardson will ask his supporters to back Obama on the second ballot tonight, the New Mexico governor made a potentially Freudian slip in a morning interview on CNN. Asked to defend his opposition to waterboarding of detainees in US custody, Richardson gave a slightly rambling answer that referred to Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf as a "terrorist". Read on....

Here is Richardson's answer to anchor John Roberts in full, per the official transcript:

No. You can't frame it that way, John. You got to say that torture is unacceptable, to have forced interrogations. You know, we got to stand for something. We got to be a country that's for quality, freedom, our constitution. You know, our constitution is pretty important. One of the first speeches I'm going to make if I'm elected president, I'm going to follow the constitution of the United States. People rise up in Iowa. They love that. I mean, that's what this election is all about. Returning to our principles, standing against terrorists like Musharraf, getting our troops out of Iraq, being energy-independent, big, bold ideas. This is why I feel very confident.

When Roberts pointed out how the candidate had labelled Musharraf, who has held onto the Bush administration's strong backing despite widespread enmity on the Pakistani street, Richardson insisted that "I called him a tyrant. It's 5:30."

There is not a single candidate out there that really excites me. I am so sick of voting for the least icky candidate, I am considering sitting this election out.:(
