If you plan to vote for a Democrat...

For Christs sake, make it Bill Richardson. He has leagues more and better experience than the other candidates. He's far more electable; he'll draw independent voters who are sick of Republicans but leery of Hillary and the other two lightweights. Read his CV and tell me why you wouldn't vote for him.

We won't get a chance to vote for Bill. He won't be running in May when we have our primary. If he is, I'd definitely give him a looksee.

I like the Richardson resume. He's a serious guy. But he's proven to be a really poor campaigner (much worse than the top 3 Dems and arguably worse than Biden and Dodd as well), and that sort of thing does matter.

I'm not sure what the problem with him is, because New Mexico is probably our most purple state, and he's quite popular there. But Iowa and New Hampshire voters have just not responded.

Richardson's out because of his recent comments on Pakistan. The guy doesn't get it.

And his stance on immigration is deplorable.

Why are you unable to vote for who gets the nomination?

The courts ruled that because Michigan fucked up by trying to move up the date for their primary... They won't be able to send any delagates to the convention...

4 of the candidates have pulled out of the primary all together........ Biden, Richardson, Obama, and Edwards aren't even on the "ghost" ballot............

Not true.

It wasn't the courts. It was the DNC.

I don't think the court made the rule; it simply stated that the DNC had the right to exclude Michigan for violating its ban on January primaries other than New Hampshire and South Carolina.

The rule will be reversed at the convention, as will any similar rule on the Republican side.

BBC are predicting Obama and Huckabee to win in Iowa.

FL democrats are getting screwed out of a primary also due to the FL move up in primary date. Will be interesting to see how many don't bother with the primary and cause skewed votes on state and local issues tacked on to the primary ballot.

Hey PERGY

If Biden and Dodd Depart, How Long Can Richardson Stick Around?

Lamest spin of the night:

"We made it to the final four." — Bill Richardson.

Final results:

Senator Barack Obama : 37.58%
Senator John Edwards : 29.75%
Senator Hillary Clinton : 29.47%
Governor Bill Richardson : 2.11%

I'm reminded of the Sesame Street song: One of these things is not like the other... three of these things are kinda the same...

Lou Richardson Zar:rolleyes:
