Illusion Vale (OOC)

Alright! Great to see all the interest. As I said before, there are update: ten characters suggested, with update: all having posted in the main thread. Here is a list (with brief descriptions of occupations) for each suggested character. The ones that are in the main thread will have stars next to them.

Also, it seems that my character is no longer the only one that hasn't broken the law in one fashion or another, but it seems that he is still the only one that hasn't had any mental, emotional, or somesuch trauma done to him before going to Illusion Vale.

Race: Fairy
Disposition: Very cheery and slightly forgetful.
Description: 3' with short bright purple hair and sparkling sky blue eyes. Rainbow iridescent wings. Is wearing a little bright green dress that frays at the ends of her cuffs and near her ankles. Little red shoes.
Abilities:
*Can create fire with a simple clapping spell.
History:
Sila is actually the princess of the Fairy Kingdom. She doesn't tend to tell people, however, and is often mistaken for a bumbling commoner. She was recently kidnapped by a band of goblins in the Trinias Mountains but after a heroic effort made by the Guardain called Michael, a werewolf, she was saved and now rests within the mountain to heal.


Soul #2: (jedi_khan)
Eeth Odok

Sprite:
Name: Van
Gender: Male
Race: Neko (or Catpersons): Official Name: Ctarl Ctarl.
Disposition: Gloomy at times with a tendency to depression. Tends to feel all knowing but is really naive.
Description: 5'2" with soft brown fur covering 99% of his body. White tufts of fur on his paws (all four) and tip of his tail. Green eyes. Carries a walking stick named Sticky everywhere and has a pack with a somewhat of a carpet bag ability. Sticky is not considered a weapon, but can be used as one in dire need.
Abilities:
*Can use Earth Magic. (specifics to be found in posts)
History:
*Made some sort of alliance with the Elves, specifically Rolyn, some time in the past. The alliance or other details are yet to be revealed.


Soul #3 (Angelus)
Largos Tanlin

Sprite:
Name: Len (recently changed)
Gender: Female
Race: Raven
Disposition: Very easy going, will only act when in extreme circumstances (ie, about to die!) Extrememly knowledgeable and tends to be impatient with people that don't catch on quick enough.
Description: Large black Raven with single feather of white on tailfeathers (to distinguish) Red eyes.
Abilities:
*can speak into people's minds

Name: Len
Gender: Female
Race: Raven Avian
Disposition: Quite innocent, still recovering and discovering her new body. She is calm and peaceful, however there is a haunted quality to her. Pain having stripped some of her away. She is also slightly forgetful and often wistful with fanciful notions and the habit of day dreaming. Intelligent and fiercely loyal to Largos. Caring and gentle.
Description: Soft pink lips with large slanted startling blue eyes. Long, shining ebony tresses with pale, ivory skin. Her wings are large, standing at 5" long with a wingspan of 12 feet. Predominantly black feathers, however a scattering of white to be found as well. Stands at 5"11'
Abilities:
*can speak into people's minds
*Can fly
History: Once thought of herself as a mere Raven but found (through her turning) that she was actually an infant Avian. After her transforming she is consumed by a need to understand who and what she really is.


Soul #4 (EHawkins)
Becca Harmon

Name: Kail
Gender: Male
Race: Wisp
Disposition: Very calm and collected. Extremely loyal and wise.
Description: Big floating ball of soft blue light. Has no facial expressions whatsoever. Spins and brightens when in deep thought.
Abilities:
*can create a soothing and calming effect on a person if close enough

Soul #5 (thanatos64)
Walter 'Buck' Jones

Sprite:
Name: Varic
Gender: Male
Race: Light Elf
Disposition: Very rational and wise. Has a good sense of humour and isn't afraid to lighten an otherwise gloomy situation. Is fierce and loyal and will fight for what he believes.
Description: 6'2" with pale blueberry hair reaching to his shoulder blades. Green eyes. He wears simple woods garb (good for travelling) with a light chainmail shirt beneath. Is currently the only sprite who is armed.
Weapons: Twin scimitars strapped crosswise on his back.
Abilites: TBA
History: Varic is the son of Malas and the foster son of The Spirit. Malas and the Spirit grew fond of each other early on, but because of her sacrifices to the Vale, she could not mother a child. A surrogate mother was found and she bore Varic through Malas. Varic knows of his true heritage and while he respects his birth mother, he considers the Spirit his real mother.


Soul #6 (Ultimate)
Faigel (Fay) Blake

Sprite:
Name: Faelin
Gender: Female
Race: Wolf
Disposition: Faelin is a wanderer, a free spirit. She found that she often had differing opinions to other members of her pack so she left them. She is now independent and quite stubborn but has has a reliable knowledge about the world around her. Slightly cynical.
Description: Black fur all over with large dark yellow eyes and stands from the ground to her shoulders at 3'6".

Soul #7 (Optimas)
Dark Thorn

Sprite:
Name: Goreab
Gender: Male
Race: Imp
Disposition: Mad to a spectacular degree! and cowardly to boot.
Description: Dark purple skin, 3' 5". Long gangly emaciated arms and legs. Small pot belly and REALLY big head, Big white eyes with small black dots for pupils. Always walks in a crouched position.
Abilities: TBA

Soul #8 (Milkmandan007)
Asterion

Sprite:
Name: Fell
Gender: Androgenous
Race: Shadow Wraith
Disposition: Sycophantic, malicious and malevolent.
Description: No features to speak of except for two pinpoints of white light roughly where its head would be. Deep black, floats a foot off the ground, 6' and can be any size whatsoever. Seems to suck the light from around it.
Abilites:
*Can kill any creature by passing through it
*Its touch is extremely painful
*Can pass through solid objects
History: Unknown


Soul #9 (politesuccubus)
Danae

Sprite:
Name: Sishota
Gender: Female
Race: Wind Elemental
Disposition: Carefree spirit, given to deep ponderings.
Description: Womanly figure made from air. Features clearly distinguishable. Slightly foggy figure that constantly shifts and moves in the wind.
Abilities: TBA

Soul #10 (Dracona)
Janelle

Sprite:
Name: Hiran
Gender: Male
Race: Water Elemental
Disposition: Most often grumpy. Complains a lot and tends to brood.
Description: Wears no clothes, you can only tell he's a male by the outlines of pectorals and masculine voice.
Watery figure that stands at 6 feet. Humanoid in appearance, eternally 'shifting' colours, like waves in the sea.
Abilities:
*Cannot drown
*Can manipulate water to a certain degree
*Can freeze water with his Icy Breath

Soul #11 (Mantra)
Jay Riven

Sprite:
Name: Coudron
Gender: Male
Race: Fire Elemental
Disposition: Is witty and loves to wisecrack. Amazingly even tempered and is slow to anger. When enraged however, it is hard to calm him back down again.
Description: Wears no clothes. 6'5", fit and toned more so than others. Bulging 'rock' muscles, well sculpted. Large, male appearance with deep gravelly voice. Appears to be made of stone with the occasional firey glow in seams along his body.
Abilities:
*Cannot burn

Name: Ganalina (recently deceased)
Gender: Female
Race: Wood Elf
Disposition: Is very 'One with Nature'. Has a calm and almost apathetic nature, but is fiercely protective of the land.
Description: Wears alot of green layers of silken clothing. Has dark brown, long, flowing hair that is usually entangled with leaves. Moony grey eyes.
Weapons: Wears a single, decorative Leaf Blade (small dagger)

Replacement Sprite:
Name: Rylia Darkmoon
Gender: Female
Race: Drider
Disposition: Is completely and utterely evil. Very moody and quick to anger. Very intelligent and is often scheming. Is not afraid of getting her hands dirty.
Description: The top half of her is purely Drow (Dark Elf). She has dark skin, white eyes and shoulder length white hair. Her bottom half, however is arachnoid. The top of her 'abdomen' has a long white strip, signifying her identity.
Weapons: Short bow and arrows. Also a short curved sword. There are also tiny fibers along her eight legs which can eject poison if she so wishes.

Soul #13 (Ultimate)
Noah

Sprite:
Name: Drakalin
Gender: Male
Race: Dragoon
Disposition: Generally very aloof. Has a rather high opinion of himself (seeing as he thinks he's from noble blood). Takes things as very very serious. Very rarely laughs.
Description: Sharp red eyes with a harsh and angular face. Fair of skin, though slightly tanned. Stands at 6'1" with large leathery Dragon wings on either side of his shoulders. They, at full length, measure about 12" including his body at a height of 5" (two being above his head). Slightly clawed hands, though he can make them larger and longer. Two canines (similar to vampires) very sharp and pointed. Long dark red hair, shoulder length, wavy. Wears elaborate, yet sturdy Dragon Armor.
Weapons: His claws. A long sword strapped to his back, pommel directly above his head. Imbued with magic and always sharp.
Abilities:
*Can use magic, but to limited degree.

Gender: Female
Race: Water Nymph
Disposition: Somewhat shy but fiercely loyal.
Description: Mia stands at 5'3" and has blue straight short hair. She wears a dark green rippling dress that comes down to her ankles but wears no shoes. She has no wings but can fly none the less.
Weapons: None
Abilities:
*Can manipulate water to some degree
*Can manipulate Earth to some degree
*Can fly using air currents

Gender: Male
Race: Magpie
Disposition: Fiercely loyal and somewhat of a know it all. Very young demeanor.
Description: Eric is an average looking Magpie. He had a black and white body with a sharp, black beak. There are no distinguishing marks on his body.
Weapons: None
Abilities:
*Can project his thoughts into the minds of others, only as speech.

Soul #16 (Kalika84)
Sita Cantrae

Sprite:
Name: Brod
Gender: Male
Race: Orc
Disposition: Surly at the best of times, brusque. Surprisingly intelligent. Can be thoughtful and is a great fighter.
Description: He stands as 6'3". 220 lbs with 10% body fat. Pale pink colouration to his skin, tatoos cover both his arms and the entire left side of his face. The right side sports a nasty cut scar. Wears a simple loin cloth, but with flaps on both sides.
Weapons: Heavy War Hammer. The haft is metal and etched with strange symbols. A single clear note can be heard when he swings it through the air.
Abilities:
*Is really, really good with that Hammer.

Soul #17 (Infalk)
Drake Zaitsev

Sprite:
Name: Dornahast (Dorn) Rockcrusher
Gender: Male
Race: Dwarf
Disposition: Dorn is steadfast, practical and a no nonsense kind of guy. He can be gruff and slightly impatient, and usually doesn't like people any taller than him.
Description: Standing at a petite 4'10", Dorn is shorter than the average Dwarf. But he's also much stockier. He lived in the Trinias Mountains with his family and loves mining. Especially the part when he got to break the earth. He has a thick black beard, slightly pointed under his chin. No mustache. He's also, strangely, bald. No other distinquishing features - brown eyes.
Weapons: Short one handed axe, hammer, traveling smithing tools. One handed hammer and a short crossbow with iron bolts.
* Accuracy rate 98% with crossbow.

About the Sprites: it seems that Sila and Van are going to be the most interesting (i.e. funny) Sprites of the bunch. Sila with her forgetfulness and Van with his naive personality. Fun.

It's the worst smell in the world... I had a barbeque grill blow up in my face... and my own singed hair made me sick....
