Illusion Vale (OOC)

im telling ya man, its really as green as people say. and the ruins (im a history major, sue me) are amazing, they're just out there in fields no guards, no admission tickets no nothing you can see them from the road and then just pull over and go right up to them. nothing like that in america, nothing at all

sorry to tell you this ren but it is 1:00am and sleep is screaming at me to listen.

I will be back tomorrow though, unless I am getting stuff or writing my novel or doing other stuff.

Until then have an extremely good day.

How be the writing going E?

Good, Good--I'm blowing through my edits faster than I thought I might :D

I think I'll be done sooner than I thought. I needed a little break, so I thought I'd pop in :D

That's always a good thing. I plan on doing the same today, well not so much the editing but putting pen to paper and actually writing.

I feel in a writing mood today. Very much so actually.

Yeah--very good :D I've been working on a novella for almost a year and half now, and it's nearly done :D

I hope your writing goes well, then! Fantastic post for Largos, by the way--poor guy can't catch a break :(

Hi E. How are you?

Good post for Largos, Angelus.

Uh... good :)
Spent some quality time with my laptop and a lot of words today. I'm just taking a little break here :D

Thanks blaster. I just sat down at the computer, put on my music and started typing. The next thing I knew the post was there. To be honest I kind of know what I wrote but not fully if that makes any sense.

I think I get it. You just started typing, but you didn't think about what you were typing; it just happened. Right?

Cool. This is a stupid question but just how big would a novella have to be, page wise to be classed as one?

I know. He is having troubles left and right and I heard from Wolfsister yesterday that this is just the beginning. :(

I was thinking this would the last place you wanted to be if you didn't want to see any more words but that is just my twisted way of thinking. :D

Yeah. I just sat there, typed and the next thing I know... there is was. I should actually go and read it.

Page wise--probably 170 or so, but 40,000 to 50,000 words is generally considered a novella, twice that is usually a normal sized novella. Different publishers have slightly different standards.

Wolfsister is merciless--I think that's why I like her as a GM :D

Oh no--I don't mind seeing more words--I just don't want to have to figure out how to edit them :D

Hmmm, well that truly puts what I am writing out of that range. At last count I think I was up to almost 400 pages and I'm just in the middle of the first one. I think I have a mammoth editing session in front of me when I finish this.

I think that's why I like her as GM as well. I doubt if I could do what she has been doing with this thread.

Same. I am trying to figure out how I am going to do that myself but I'm going to see if I can ask Wolfsister very nicely. She will probably help me. If not I am going to go out of my mind.
