Illusion Vale (OOC)

When I was married I wasn't 'allowed' to watch such things as Star Trek and Star Wars. Once I remedied the situation and retook my freedom I started to play catch up. To each his own I say.

Good night E...sleep sweet

Wait, what? You weren't "allowed" to watch Star Trek and Star Wars? How can that happen?

Actually, my bed calls to me as well with the voice of....lol...a siren.... :D

Good night on and all...

My husband didn't like that sort of thing so I wasn't allowed to watch it either. He was one of those people that condemned what he couldn't understand.

I guess he was what is known as a "philistine." I'm not sure on the spelling, but the phonics should be right.

I had to put my five month old puppy down today... he had parvo... he hadn't eaten for three days and there was no way he was going to make it....

On a lighter note... I'm here even though a bit depressed... I bought a box of oreos and ate myself into sickness...

That's very unfortunate for you UN. I'm feeling the sorrow, remembering my own dog, who had to be put down a few months ago. She was about 10 years old, and she had developed a tumor in her leg. She was my first dog. I unfortunately could not be there when the end came. I was away at college.

I'm so sorry UN. Such a horrible thing to have happen to a little one like that. I can only imagine how sad you must feel *hugsss*

Oh yes....I was heading for bed wasn't I. So easily distracted at the moment...

Good night for real this time.... :)

yeah... it didn't help that the vet tried to make me feel like shit about it... He blamed it on me... I mean... I was relaly sad about my dog... but that guy... he had my blood boiling... so of course I asked him what right he had to talk to me like that.

Overall I will be ok... I remember the last dog I had to put down... I had had him since I was five... and I put him down christmas of 2005.... He was 14 years old..... he was a large white german shepard... beautiful dog... I still have his ashes...

my first dog was a shetland collie mix, he died when i was 18. god, he mustve been thirteen or fourteen, sweetest dog ever, and for a long time the only real friend i had, the only thing i could bear to share my feelings with when i was at my lowest point of depression, drug addiction and alcohol abuse. I cried when it happened, i never cry.

I can say I don't cry a lot... but I cried for a long time today over Duece... and I cried a long time over AJ... I will cry for Rocky and Foxy...

I was raised not to cry, one of my earliest memories of my father is him picking me up when i was crying and telling me that i was his little man, and men dont cry

I tend to be very stoic when it comes to sadness. My eyes might get moist, but I won't cry. Of course, that might change when my cat dies. But hopefully, that will be awhile yet.

Anyways, you asked about a game, UN? What type of game?

Does that involve one of us doing your paper? If it does, then count me out. I had enough papers to write this past semester.
