I'm afraid I don't get it. Could someone elucidate?

I've written a rather filthy story involving a Daddy and his daughters doing things they really oughtn't be doing. Well, 2 parts of the story so far. I've gotten some fascinatingly odd email regarding it.

My email has always been along the lines of Good story you're a good writer, like your stuff but you mispelled thought four times, Will you write a story for my wife? Will you marry me? I've been in a situation like that..., If you're ever in *city* and here's a pic to tempt you, and the invaluable email I get from friends and fellow authors detailing what's good or not. And that the story wasn't finished yet, I need to finish it.

Until this story I've never gotten an email telling me what to do with the story. Other than to finish it. Now I'm getting several emails from people who want me to add pregnancy sex to the story, with the daddy and daughters, or to have one of the daughters spanked by daddy. But mostly they want to see them get pregnant.

I don't understand this. What is so sexually attractive about a father getting his children pregnant?

I'm not sure, but that's a very, very popular theme. Another equally popular one is the son impregnating the mother, preferably while she's still married to the father.

Although I take pride in my perversions, there are quite a few that puzzle me too, Muff. There's no fascination with pregnancy here, and I don't think I'm all alone on this. I could list a few more kinks that get a lot of press, but do nothing for me either.

I wanna answer this question so badly but just can't find the right words.

Sex between a Daddy and his Daughter, or between a Mother and her son, make a lot of people look back to their own childhood ... they see the clossness between the character and wish they had some form of that, even if it's just the bond between these people, which later turns to sex. They are not in any way looking for the sex, just the bond.

Not "Normal" to some, but to others they are looking for something that was lost or taken from them many years ago.

Others read them for some sort of insight into why they may have been abused earlier in life by a family member. Just as others read the Non Consent in hope of maybe getting a few answers.

Why they would want the Daughter to be impregnated, is just another area of learning, "why would either party actually want to do this?" "What Taboo even lies behind this?"

So many questions and yet no-one will ever be able to tell what it is about incest that is such a big "turn on - turn off" for them or anyone else for that matter.

Then again there are a lot of perverts out there (and I'm not talking pervs like you and I either), so who knows the full reason behind what they are doing.

This is a question that will never be answered Muffin.

Just kidding, but as has been suggested on another thread, sexual feelings abound in childhood and inevitably become part of the dynamics between parent and child. We all know the Oedipal Complex, the competition between son and father for affection/possession of mother. The Electra Complex relates to daughter's longing for father. The reason taboos exist around incest, is that these powerful urges are operating within the family. The fact the taboo exists makes those urges even more tantalizing. And what better way to play them out than in fantasy, including erotic writing and pornography. Freud also has a concept called "reaction formation," which is likely at the root of the response of some of KM's critics. One forms a powerful reaction against something out of fear of its existence within oneself. I always look at rigid moralists as frightened people, needing to control everyone around them because they fear their own impulses. IMHO, this same dynamic operates in much of fundamentalist religion.

Finally, that those indulging these fantasies would want to see intercourse lead to pregnancy, does not seem so strange to me. Its like the final validation of the love/passion that underlies the whole genre. Who can doubt that the taboo has been violated if the daughter is pregnant by her father. Yes, we are strange creatures, but these urges are not so unusual, even if they're held in check and unacknowledged by most of us.

I think this kink, like nonconsent, is more about power than sex. Impregnating a daughter is the ultimate expression of the "manly power" the father has over the daughter.

Wrtie the ending the way YOU want it, and let those looking for the power trip of an incestuous pregancy look elsewhere.
