How small it it?

Seriously, one traffic light. So small it's not even considered a city/town... we're a village.

Wisconsin, which is REALLY in the midwest, not the wannabe midwest. ;)

Fuck off Cheyenne. It's getting old. Nebraska is not a "wanna be" in the midwest. The Great Plains IS the midwest.

<waving westward at Purple Haze> Hi! A 'Pegger, eh?

<waving southeasternly to Shelby> Hi fellow Ontarian!

No, the city I live in is not REALLY called Moose Nads. But it has that moose nads mentality to it. ;)

Go East....

Ringsted - Denmark. One hour west of Copenhagen.

I thought ít was time to get Europe more represented here :)

Small-townsville Iowa.

And, Tiggs, did I miss something? I always thought KS was as midwestern as IA....Heartland at least yes?

Without getting into a huge, pointless debate with someone, yes I'd say that Kansas is part of the Midwest too.

Ah, Tiggs? I believe you were the first to bring it up again with your answer to this thread?

If it's "getting old", why bring it up again yourself first? I thought we'd already been through the geography lessons for you. http://www.literotica.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=14723&pagenumber=2

Here's a slightly more positive suggestion for you rather than returning your intelligent "Fuck off" request. Stay up and listen to the Presidential election returns on election night. Count how many times Nebraska is referred to as being in the midwest as opposed to Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, etc.
Should be an easy count for you. You won't even need any of your fingers on one of your hands to count for Nebraska. :)

Great thanks to all.....

I can't explain how this does sooth my soul. This gives me a base from which to ask questions - and get to know a little more about you - only if you wish. You know - the news reporter in me - super curious.

Yeah thanks.....

I finally figured that out. It will take me years to figure everything out about this board. Yesterday I thought I'd try to remind myself "how to post like a Troll" which(!) I've never done since that first flurry of Troll attacks (actually I didn't ever post as a Troll - I was Letterman and Leno and a couple of others I think) AND ANYWAY - I can't do, forgot the process (please no one remind me either) - BUT my point is - I forget this stuff unless I repeat it and repeat - all the time. The other day I needed to use my phone/calling/card/number (I forgot my cell phone) now, a number I've dialed hundreds of times but not lately - I actually thought I had it right but it would not work. I have also forgotten my measly 4 digit ATM number - twice. I believe it's a combination of a few things - pot smoking and other stuff in my youth, dyslexia and creeping old age. Anyway why did I start rambling here?

Shit! I forgot.

Better late than never

I have a question for Cheyenne though. I, like Tiggs am from Nebraska. Now, Nebraska is located smack dab in the middle of the United States hence "Mid" and we're farther west than Wisconsin where you're from so how is it that Wisconsin is the Midwest and Nebraska's not? Shouldn't you be considered in the Northeast?

I actually couldn't give a fuck about this state, whether it's midwest, southwest, northwest, whatever, but unless college professors, newcasters, the weather channel, and my parents have lied to me my entire life, this is the midwest.

Hell, maybe you and Tiggs like to debate over it but I know what we were taught and how Nebraska is described to people in maps and by the Nebraska department of tourism and that's without a shadow of a doubt, Nebraska is a part of the Midwest. Now maybe you two would like to argue about something else for a while because this subject is tired.

Thanks again you all......

outta here (Down to DC/NOVA) for the weekend. See ya Monday.

<~~~~ It finally let me put it in. I am just east of Atlanta.

Native of San Jose, CA, still live in that general area. Heart of Silicon Valley. Area was about 70% orchards when I was a kid (I'm 50 now), now it's aout 95% computer companies.

So many have moved here from everywhere else to get jobs in the computer industry, that the joke is that living here 3 years automatically makes you a native. Husband moved here 20 years ago from New Jersey, guess that makes him a native Califonian almost 7 times over!

We both work in the computer industry, of course. You pretty much have to, to afford to live in this area (nothing else pays enough to afford a home here).
