I realize I'm a bit behind the times, as I just read this thread today. But I think some of my stories might fit the type that you are looking for. But I think I should caution you that they aren't the "typical" sort of thing one usually sees around here.

I'm glad this issue is still getting discussed sweetn, last time I mentioned it, I checked a few times afterwards in IR, but they were all still just BIG BAD SNEERING BLACK MAN 'pumping' those 'white slut whores' who just love to simper and worship and cower all the time, etc etc. Absolute Bollocks in my opinion. Makes you wonder why such men even care what colour the woman is, surely any old thing with a hole in it would do.

Personally I really dig the differences, I find pale white skin delightful and thrilling, and a nice white ass is.... oh shudder, lets say better then ice-cream. But then I'd probably be equally as guilty if it were left to me. Although I love the differences (one of the things I like about being black is that white women are exotic looking) I'm also kinda sub anyway, and like stories where the black guy is in the power of the white woman (servants, farmhands and janitors etc) and especially like it when he goes down on her...

My last story that I wrote (under a different name at the time) is linked below, but my next one will be different (vampires!) The main thing I guess is that most of the stuff in the IR section actually pours cold water on my mood if you know what I mean... can't we have a new section for black & white lovin?

You have GOT to write some stories about that!!!!

ALso, I'm not saying that all stories have to be pollitically correct. So if you want your black sub to be whipped in a cottonfield or anything else- go for it, I think that your true feelings will come through. Back in the day when my SO and I just wrote for each other, he would right really twisted and kinky stories with a lot of BDSM, but the love and tenderness always showed through. Its in the details I think where your attitude will make all the difference in what comes accross. Just write inter-racial that turns you on. I think the offending stuff is by and large written by white males (as was pointed out eirlier) and shows *their* particular turn on.

Just got a story idea. White male with girlfried- talks her into sleeping with a black man from work or something while he watches. He thinks it slumming, and the encounter fulfils his racist and sexist fantasies (making his 'woman' defile herself with a back man for his pleasure), but unbenownst to him, the woman feels like a goddess for the first time in the hands of this man. And he feels it too, its powerful and sensual and not dirty at all. Maybe they carry on together behind the husbands back afterwards, maybe she leaves the husband for the man, or maybe nothing ever happens again between them, its just one glorious night. Or maybe they just continue to do the threesome thing, secretly enjoying there own little fantasy unbenownst to the pig-headed hubby. anybody who likes this idea, feel free to use it. I have more ideas than I can possibly use.

I haven't been on this board for awhile, but I'm glad to see this subject being discussed. Interracial stories are my main interest, both as a reader and a writer here. I've always loathed the obvious racism of so many black male/white female stories. My own stories are devoted to white male/black female. When race becomes an element in any story, you have to worry if any racism is leaking through, even unconsciously. Even with the fantastic elements (magical potions e.g.) that exist in some of my works, I hope that no racism is present. My characters lust for each other on an equal footing, and I've always gotten a good reaction for that reason. Here's my member page and stories for you to judge for yourself:

I would think it would best go under lesbian sex. You can try the interracial category, but you may what to key in on lesbian interests.

From what I've read here, you need to pick the "main" theme of your story. So, if you have interracial lesbians your best bet is to put it in the "lesbian" category. It may be closed minded of people, but I think most readers expect to find hetero sex in the "interracial" section.

I think it could go under either. You should take the story itself into consideration- what is focussed on? Also, if you are trying to write in every category, do you already have one in one or the other? If its a first for the main character, it should probably go in that one as that would presumably be the focus. (ie, she's a lesbian but she's never been with a woman of a different race vs. she's had interracial relationships but never with a woman. If its a first for both (or not either) then I would say its up to you. (Of course it is regardless) Other things you might wish to consider are which you might think it would get more reads or better votes for (maybe based on your experience with other stories you've posted.)

Good discussion going on here. I shy away from the interracial category because I've tired of every black male having a 12 inch dick as big around as a beer can. (No Offense Black Snake; if you got it, flaunt it). Being a black male I know not all black men are built like that. I also tire of hearing the words "white", "bitch", and "slut" always used in the same sentence. I read one good interracial story where the white guy wanted to see his wife fuck a black coworker. The coworker was college educated and didn't talk down to or humiliate the wife by using "the three words". That I thought was a good story. I hope to see more like that.

BTW how come there aren't stories about a black guy who wants to see his wife fuck a white guy?

I hope this thread will lead to some better interracial stories.

Good discussion going on. I frequent the interracial category quite a lot. I am not too fond of the dialogue in quite a few stories, the whole "white slut/bitch" thing, but at the same time... I don't know. Perhaps I'm just good at ignoring some of it (not all though), but I see it as just a fantasy. I'm not fond of anyone calling me a slut, no matter their colour. But, I guess some people get turned on by that type of dirty talk. It's their business. I read the stories as fantasies, something the writer gets turned on. Doesn't always have to mean he's into degrading women or is racist in real life.

What I guess annoys me the most though is the whole stereotype thing. The fact that the male has a 12 inch dick and usually isn't very well educated.

I'm also with Dagget, how come there aren't stories about a black guy who wants to see his wife fuck a white guy? Let me guess, it's all about the stereotype (though I guess it's also scientifically proven African men have slightly bigger dicks) that's the thrill.

When once speaking to a previous Lit member I asked him why the interracial stories are mainly about black/white combination. Yes, I've seen a few Asian/White stories, but eh, interracial can really mean anything. Asian/Black. Latino/Middle Eastern etc. Personally I just have a thing for men with dark features period.
Anyway, my friend's reply was that he thinks the white/black combination is the most taboo one. I'd like to hear what you all think.

We live in a WASP-controlled world. I once read somewhere that there's supposed to be a hierarchy among races, where light races rank high, and dark rank low. According to this list, white would be on top, followed by Asian, then Arabians and Latinos, and black at the bottom. If one is stupid enough to follow this list, then the two extremes, black male and white female, have the biggest contrasts, and are therfore the most interesting to write about.

Me, I'm just crazy about the estetic beauty of dark skin next to light.

I try to write stories where the ethnic background is one detail among others, like age or height.

I am so glad that you brought this up. I agree that many of the interracial stories are written in a racist way. My husband (who is black) and I have wild, dirty, naughty sex sometimes just like everyone else. Sometimes I like him to talk dirty and call me names but that's not how it is all the time, nor does it have anything to do with his being dark skinned. I too love to see his dark skin against my white skin as we're making love. I can't wait to see some new and improved interracial stories.

I second the sentiments...

As a black man, I have dated several women of different races, which I happen to find fascinating. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Black women, but meeting and learning about women from different races and cultures thrills me like nothing else.

As for story ideas, I think it would be interesting if someone could write a story where you know that the people are from different races, but aren't quite sure which. Since neither wants to ask and be embarrassed or offend the other, they both make their own assumptions based on conversations, phrases used, food and music, but they keep changing their minds along the way. It's not until the end of the story that they, along with the reader, finds out what their races actually are; and by then, they are so in love that the race doesn't matter anyway.

Think "Seinfeld", when Elaine thought the guy was Black, and he thought she was Latina. At the end they both realized they were White, and went to the Gap!
