Keeping Her Off Balance
“Should I wipe that up, Mistress?” Abi asked, pointing to the wet spot she had left on the bench from masturbating unseen by anyone but Josephine in the tavern’s back corner booth.
“Of course not,” Josephine insisted with a chuckle. “That’s a monument to everything we stand for.”
She left a generous tip on the table, took Abi’s hand, and walked her out of the bar. She detected the slightest wobble in Abi’s walk. Anyone unfamiliar with Long Island Ice Tea always underestimated its potency. Josephine intended to keep Abi buzzed to prevent her from considering her situation intellectually, which she would do instinctively if given the chance. If she did, Josephine worried even now that Abi’s insecurities would ironically interfere with her complete surrender to the safety available in Josephine’s confident strength, which she knew Abi truly desired. Initiating no conversation, she led Abi back to where she had parked her car.
“I’m glad you finished your drink, but you had better let me drive. We need to stop by a hardware store before we go to the hotel.”
