Investors Are Starting to Dump US Treasuries Citing TOO MUCH RISK

I am trying to channel my inner zen spirit.. not that I have one whatsoever. But:
I cannot change people's mind. I cannot affect those that does not want to listen or see.

Instead of trying, I should watch the washing machine spin the laundry around, while drinking my cuppa.

That way, no idiot will ever be able to live rent free in my mind. 😎

Some people need the attention and the chaos, they only thrive when there is strife and hate all over.

Give them nothing, and they will burn themselves out.

🫖🍵
Love all of this, my friend.

What an idiot

Well, that 38 trillion in det took a while to accumulate and it was both parties that managed that one. We've been living pn borrowed money for a lomg time now and at some stage the party will come to an end. It just looks like Trump is precipitating that, that's all. That borrowing has largely been based on the USA being a stable haven and a source of international stability - without that, we cease to be a as useful and there's no reason to prop us up.

Lots more to it than that, but BG makes a couple of good points in there.

This is a time to carefully consider any large expenses. Someone who plans to stay in one suburban house forever could invest in house maintenance. Someone who might move to an urban apartment or another house later may figure this house is just temporary shelter and not worth large expenses. The collapse of the real estate market will probably make large numbers of vacancies, especially in the suburbs. Some houses may become boarding houses or shared living situations as expenses rise.
It's interestimg isn't it. I have friends in Toronto and they're telling me this is what the Toronto real estate market is like - way way way overpriced and incredibly expensive

Russian propagandist lunatics are extraordinarily weird.
No, no, to being a Russian propagandists and yes I do know the exact reasons that gold is 4800 an ounce been a collector, trader and an advocate of gold and silver as real money (can't print silver or gold)....
Hope gold tops out at 8-9000 an ounce......because you ain't seen nothing yet 😁

You DO want Russia to LOSE this war, don't you?
Do you have any clue as to what prompted the Russians to attack Ukraine?.......🤷‍♀️
What I want?... is for all of the scum that toiled in the dark to foster the war between the Russians and the euro trash to be brought to the noose for their crimes against the innocent people of Ukraine and Russia.....

Russia attacked Ukraine because Putin wanted a puppet regime there like he has in Belarus. He is no Communist despite his KGB background (the Communists are his opposition) -- his ambition is simply to make Russia a world power of the first rank once again. And the world cannot afford to tolerate that. It will be much better for the world if all the states of the former Russian Empire and/or USSR remain independent. Russia certainly has no pressing need for more territory, resources, or international clout, and can thrive perfectly well with what it has.

Russia was able to invade Ukraine because Trump reneged on the defense agreement in revenge for Ukraine not providing (inventing) dirt on Hunter Biden.

That agreement was following the break-up of the Soviet Union and was to give Ukraine protection in return for not developing their own nuclear weapons. Trump was subsidized by Putin via Moscow branch of Deutsche Direct Bank, so leverage in both directions.

How do you explain Crimea?

Crimea has always been occupied by ethnic Russians (see, the Crimean War featuring the Charge of the Light Brigade; Britain v. Russia following the break up of the Ottoman Empire). That was a limited annexation and mainland Ukraine was not threatened.
