I think the big bang occurred when the top ten lists collided with the renewal of the private-parts-as-AV controversy. Once we were accused of being a family and encouraged to hug, no sane person could continue to deny that Soylent Green is people. The place went crazy, the way cockroaches scramble for the baseboards when the lights are switched on.
