I suspect that it would have taken a few more election cycles/contrivances to get there, but that appears to have been the goal. The Dems have always been about greeting the boats at the docks and signing up new voters.

The previous administration caused the unaffordability crisis and now they want voters to believe they can fix it. They are IRRELEVANT except as panacea to make you feel better about yourself because they are unconnected to anything except your hatred.

BTW, recent economic data shows that wages have outstripped inflation over the past year. That means people have earned more income than the rise in the cost of living.

As for the DNC, without them, the Left has no candidates. Without candidates, the D's won't assume political power.

And finally, if you believe that threats of retribution are the way to convince people to vote for your political agenda, think again. Not only is making terrorist threats a crime, but it's the most filthy way to conduct social policy and people won't stand for it.
