"Alien" is not an objectionable word, only confusing because so many think it means "extraterrestrial." The problem is "illegal." The usual criticism is, no human being is illegal.

thats why whenever someone says like illegal aliens in usa or something like that

i would reply by saying something like illegal aliens from outer space
