Isolated BDSM Blurts: Facehugger Fetish

I just scrolled way back on Twitter to reread a thread where the Tax Administration live tweeted two episodes of Paw Patrol from taxation point of view. Dog treats, taxable income or not? How about the fringe benefits like the phone and cars?

Worth the scrolling. Epic Tax Guy lives up to his name.

Not stories for lit, but I've wanted to write a handful of short stories but never completed them because I think they'd be embarrassingly bad.

I don't know what to say about actually publishing it but if you've even half-completed one you're already doing much better than many people like me so good luck with it.

Julienning is like meditation to me.
Now I’m just waiting for the meat to be done and howling along with old (german at the moment)rock ballads.

There should be a thread for funny, weird and unfortunate first date stories.

*waits for seela to start one*

Yes! I guarantree I’m not the only one who wants to hear about the fruits of these bizarre encounters, pitting two strangers, drying to fig of something to say but ending with nothing but awkward talk about strained tropics.

On one hand, I’m not sure how I let that one go before. On the other, I’m probably the only mod editing misspelled thread titles.

I don’t have that many funny or interesting date stories to tell so I don’t think I’ll start the thread. Sorry.

Your wish, my command. ;)

Also added a much needed apostrophe in a cafe thread.

Hahahah. Thanks. AP Style, MLA, APA and the Chicago manual are ALL in rare agreement on gang-banged, although AP has been moving to reduce hyphens. But I wonder if the plural is, as you’d imagine, gangbangs, OR, as with attorneys general, gangs bang????

(I’ll admit the cafe apostrophe had bothered me too, but I didn’t wanna intrude on personal threadhavens.)

Grammardomming is the next findomming.

Gangbangs, or maybe gang-bangs.

The plural goes on the noun. Usually with English, the noun is at the end so the plural looks like Adjective-Nouns. But sometimes we put the noun first (often because we're borrowing from languages like French which use that order) and then the plural looks like Nouns-Adjective.

"Attorney general" is one of those French borrowings, describing an attorney who's modified by "general", so we pluralise "attorneys". But "gang-bang" is a type of bang, not a type of gang, so "bang" is the noun and it pluralises as "gang-bangs".

(Although technically, two gang-bangs could just be one really big gang-bang?)

Ohhhh my GOD. This is so fucking hot. I didn’t know my refractory period could be halved.

(Now seeing new groups of collaborating Batman villains: Gangs Bang.)

Grammardomming? Hmmm...I like the sound of that! :D

Oh, I agree. You gotta negotiate a stylebook though. You’re going to have brats misusing “your” and “you’re” on purpose, you’re gonna have people caned with an em dash, you’re gonna have rope bunnies getting tongue-tied. I love the idea that safewords don’t get recognized unless they’re used correctly.

Well, then...is it cum? Or come?

And is clusterfuck all one word?

I read stuff online about this recently. The cumsensus seemed to be that “come” is what one does after reading incredibly hot grammar rules in a bath, surrounded by votive candles, while “cum” is baby batter.

Clusterfuck seems to be moving toward simply the word “cluster.” Maybe because it was used so often in the past five years that it earned an abbreviation?

So, “come” is a verb and “cum” is a noun?
