TDS Stands for Trump Derangement Syndrome - a mental illness manifested in an illogical belief that anything bad that happens is caused by the current president of the USA. This is usually accompanied by the belief that nothing good can be attributed to that same person.
This can get pretty extreme. Tornados in Texas? That's Trumps fault. Bad water in Flint, MI? Trump caused that. A break in the levees? Blame that on Trump. Illegal immigrants falling sick on their thousand-mile trek to our borders and dying days after they arrive? Trump killed them. ISIS staging new attacks? That was because of Trump. If a giant meteor were to strike Earth, killing all life forms, with their dying breaths, those with TDS would be blaming Trump.
Conversely, unemployment at record lows? Credit Obama, not the current POTUS. Stock Market at record highs? That wasn't Trump; it was the previous president, although a brief decline would be blamed on Trump. ISIS routed and no longer a threat? That was in spite of Trump.
However, as long as you are aware of what is actually happening, rather than what is being said by those with this malady, you should be alright.
