It's "Twitter Freedom Friday!"

So, another Harpy meltdown is in progres.

Somebody throw some Carbon water on the spaz to cool hir off.

🤣

Actually there’s a handful of you all losing badly to him.

Maybe you need to top up your glass.

<personal attack snip>

The DNC may not be "a government agency" but the DOJ and DHS certainly are and THOSE AGENCIES asked Twitter (in writing no less) to violate the civil rights of Twitter users.

Musk's data dump was a glorious thing. And none of you dipshits who are trying to downplay it will admit how fucking bad it makes you look. I'm looking forward to traunch #2.
Okay, now you're pivoting from teh DNC to the DOJ and the DHS. Fine.

Are you willing to state for the record that you misspoke when you claimed the the DNC was asking Twitter to moderate misinformation, disinformation and malinformation?

I've seen exactly zero evidence of the DNC's involvement in anything related to Musk's data dump.

The House is all about the talk in investigating The Big Guy and the Twitter data will go a long way in that regard when coupled with the laptop from Hell.
I’m all for investigating that. Biden’s son was selling influence while dad was vp. The laptop content has been verified. Needs to be investigated. Just don’t want that to overshadow everything else.

.
Oh the things that delusional right wingers THINK are happening or are going to happen.

Question: How can those right wing idiots live on NOTHING BURGERS & CARBON WATER???

It’s obvious that their brains can’t.

🤣

I don’t use Twitter but the reports say it now has lots of idiots saying stupid things.

Like here?

You bring up an interesting point. Even idiots have the right of free speech and it's useful that they do, self-identification is meritorious. What Musk's goal is is to cull the bots from the platform. Lit. doesn't have that problem yet, at least not since the stumbling efforts of Hanns. Lit does have an equivalent in the form of multiple alts posting more or less simultaneously. Musk's solution is a paywall, and that notion was floated here many moons ago. You like to play with the idiots, I gravitate more towards the liberal use of the 'ignore' button.

you've been banned from here multiple times for racist hate speech. musk would give you a blue check for life gratis.

I wonder if anyone's noticed that all the companies that said they were going to stop advertising on Twitter, are back advertising on Twitter. Minimally but advertising none the less and they'll most likely increase their budgets in that regard as time goes on. Two reasons for this.

The first is that their competitors are there. They're not going to leave the space uncontested. They don't care about the various media figures that leave Twitter at all. Those figures just aren't as influential as they think they are for one and those figures sure as hell don't have the money or constitute enough volume to keep those companies afloat. Practical business decisions trump symbolism at every turn. The other consideration is that if Musk lives up to his promise to eliminate the bots the raw number of subscribers begins to be less important because the advertisers are now assured that real eyeballs are on the platform. Going forward that makes the platform more valuable and in the long run more money can be charged for the companies presence.

Next is the fact that Twitter is also a negative advertising venue. A user, any user, can get on the platform and complain about some horrendous event that occurred while doing business with some company. And if that Tweet goes viral tremendous damage can be done to that companies bottom line. So those companies have to maintain a presence on the platform to either counter the complainants claim, or assure the claimant that some action/restitution will be made. The preservation of their public image as it were.

Obviously this all depends on how Musk executes his philosophy.

They are?

You emboldened the wrong part. ALL would have been a better choice and in that regard I did over speak.........for now.
I haven't seen any "back" and advertising.

Facebook is a more lucrative space for advertising. Other players are becoming an option as well.

Y'all had one shot with this dead laptop claptrap and it never even hit the tree the target was nailed to. :ROFLMAO:

Bumped for BabyBoobs reading pleasure.

I see that zooming over some heads.

Truth be told I see the Hunter Biden issue as second rate now that the collusion between the media and the government is being exposed with supportive evidence.

The Biden thing is about money, greed. The media collusion thing is about the government denying first amendment rights by proxy.
