Yes, a small number of people at Twitter shadow banned him for warning about the adverse impact of school closures would have on children. Sadly he turned out to be right. The good news is we now have confirmation that Gadde, Roth, Agarwal and Dorsey engaged in “visibility filtering”, also known as shadow banning, and now they no longer with the company.

His recommendation was that young and healthy students should be allowed to attend classes, spread viruses and achieve herd immunity. I doubt that he gave any thought about the faculty.

My own feeling on Musk's Twitter takeover is, he had an opportunity for reform and improvement, and blew it in dramatic fashion. Months ago he spoke about things like making Twitter algorithms transparent to users, and new features like post editing. As a Twitter user, I'd have been very receptive to these changes. I'm still receptive to opening the verification process, done properly. But with Twitter's future so uncertain, my involvement in the platform has essentially evaporated.

Part of me thinks it was an intentional take down of the platform. Why?

We now are learning with certainty that which we've been pointing out for some time now, Big Social Media was conspiring with the Democrats to fix elections and suppress conservative voices and viewpoints. Personally, I think a lot of corporate America was in on it too.

The Democrats have been screaming "voter suppression" for a long time with zero proof of it. Even in Georgia where they just had record voter turnouts, they are still hollering this lie from ever hollow and hill. They will diligently cherry-pick tiny examples where they can find Republican malfeasance and the apply the fallacy of the exception proving the rule even as we know know that their fraud was massive and pervasive. The Democrats, indeed, are becoming the New American Fascists.

It harkens back to Lois Lerner (and others) weaponizing the IRS to go after Conservative groups where the defense from Democrats was, "Look! She did the same thing to this one Liberal group," in yet another brazen display of the exception proving the rule.
