It's "Twitter Freedom Friday!"

Here's the thing, as a private company, Twitter can do pretty much what it wants, which it was doing. However, I don't believe they can lie about it and especially when they go before Congress and lie under oath...

Similarly, now that Musk owns the company, he can release the records of what they were up to, after all, he purchased them and is exposing them and the Left is going crazy, my favorite part of all of this; they scream about free speech while attacking free speech that they don't much approve of.
No, they aren't. Your perception meter works as poorly as your BS meter.

Like seriously people, less than 3% of the worlds population use Twitter.......the other 97% of us, don't give a shit.....*chuckles*
And yet you opine nearly continuously and vociferously on the thing you claim you don't care about.

There's a word that covers that type of behavior: Liar.

But the First Amendment allows them to voice that concern.

Again, why do you go so hard for hate speech?
dudly, the 1st Amendment EXPLICITLY PREVENTS them from doing exactly that in their official government capacity.

You really are the fucking moron everyone believes you to be.

I’ll bite, what are they doing that is prevented???
Really looking forward to this answer.

You know, at SOME point you really really really need to at least learn how to googly before you open your yap on shit you have no clue about.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

When Congressmen question the Right to free speech, they invade the province of a protected and enumerated power EXPLICITLY enjoined against them. They don't have to propose a Bill, only question in their official capacity whether the people have the right to free speech, before they run afoul of the Constitution. Merely debating the issue violates that prohibition because the debate infringes an area they cannot legislate upon and debate is an integral component of legislation.

But but they were only speaking in their private capacity!!! you might claim.

Except you actually mentioned them in their official capacity, therefore you must be referring to their comments as part of their official position as members of Congress. If that's not what you meant, then why did you bring it into the discussion?

I've posted three times in this thread, what's your post count? ( one of my posts was a rebuttal of you btw...) *chuckles*

I think the funniest thing about Harpy’s derpdowns is that the idiot doesn’t even realize an episode is in progress.

Harpy obliviously derps away while every decent and sane person just points and laughs.

🤣

But they didn’t question the right to free speech. They asked Musk to keep his word and moderate the content on Twitter.

It’s not like they said “take Twitter first and give Musk due process second”.

I think the right has a wildly unrealistic understanding of what has changed. Outside of firing people and blanketly offering people their accounts, I haven't seen much

If idiots like Harpy, BabyBoobs, JohnEBB, etc concede to the obvious truth, then they have lost their gas and their light.

And gaslighting is those idiot’s entire goal / agenda

Obviously.

What I find interesting is what the clown college graduate(s) chose to pick up on and what they chose to ignore...
Speakin' of clown college, chief, tell us again about your degree in "mathmatics" (sic).
Alternatively, you could lecture us as a "scientist" since your minor was in science..."computer science" to be exact.
Sheesh, all that education and you ended up unloading semi trucks at Walmart. Life is strange, eh?

A media platform actively monitoring, making rules and taking action against deliberate disinformation rhetoric that hurts/damages lives is disapproving of and attacking free speech now, huh?

He’s a doctor, right? They wear masks, and they require patients to wear masks, too.
Doctors wear masks in most hospitals and other medical facilities. Not so much in restaurants, bars, stores, classrooms, and social media company headquarters. Twitter HQ is not a hospital.

It's not my fault no one wants to talk to you even with a pork chop hanging around your neck.

Maybe if you were less obnoxiously stupid, and more fun like MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! you wouldn't be wallowing in the low-post-count hall of despair.

Meanwhile at the time of this post, not a single person agreed with you by clicking like to your post.

Perhaps there's a lesson in there that maybe your view isn't the correct one?
