I am sure you could give me some lessons on steadiness. I am often like a puppy, playful and attacking. We ride like we are, aren't we?You are somewhat compact - probably pretty much solid muscle, although not body builder like. Do you lift weights? I can see you being inclined to sprint. Not too many are that good at all aspects of cycling.
Me. I've always been best at time trialing - fast and steady. Not bad on hills, except for mtns. I was on a racing circuit doing duathlons [run,bike,run: 5K, 40K, 5K] for close to ten yrs all across SE US. It's been a while. I was virtually unbeatable in age group [40-50] and frequently finished in top five overall, even winning a competitive race in Huntsville, AL. I actually am not a big fan of large pelotons - consistent with my predilection for time trials.
I want to see those quads of yours in action. Get your "neighbor" to video you doing a series of squats facing the camera and a few from the side. Clothing is optional [the less the better] but totally bare quads. More sensual, physical Iza stuff.
