Decency, transparency, and morals are all fine, but also vague, like hope, change, and family values. They can't be objectively measured or judged.

Government transparency is particularly hard to subjectively judge because the government is huge. Cutting it down to what we can afford would make it more observable in action and effect.

When you threaten to take away people's freedoms, their liberties, and things they take for granted- basic human rights, you better expect there will be pushback.

When, for example, the proverbial "Left" decides that they want to take away all privately owned firearms, you better believe the gun owners aren't going to take it sitting down. And on the other hand, you have a faction who want to strip away all rights and dignity from, deport and imprison people simply because of their sexual orientation and the color of their skin, and this is NOT (contrary to what some people insist) the idea of the "Left." And of course, it is only right and appropriate to resist, fight back, against this type of predjudice, hate, and violations of human rights.

Then, you have people on this very forum who declare that all Democrats ought to be rounded up and sent to prison. Is this okay? By all reasonable logic, no it is not; any more than it is right to do the same to law-abiding Republicans.

One slight problem with your post:

"The proverbial left” that wants “to take away all privately owned firearms” is practically nonexistent, whereas a significant number on the right ARE ACTUALLY / CURRENTLY DOING all the fascist, anti-American shit that you mentioned.

The CONCEPT is the same, but it isn’t even close to the same thing in REALITY.

But overall, I agree with the basic premise of your thread: There WILL be pushback. And that pushback may well be violent and asymmetrical, as the Christo-fascist / Islamo-fascist / Judeo-fascist right wing corporate establishment (the Trump-Epstein class / the elites) is making violent revolution inevitable.
