Hate is an evolved survival trait. Very few people are completely without hate, but leftists now are required to pretend they don't hate. So they project hate on enemies or any convenient scapegoats. They make themselves batshit with their denial of a basic human emotion. The pendulum will swing probably swing back to the other extreme, a riotous embrace of hate, and then years later, hopefully, we'll settle down to hating when it works for survival. Something else will be forbidden, the usual cycle of human trends.

While I don't disagree about your assertions about communism, the problem is, you attribute any altruistic thing the government does, or any slight regulation of buisness, the environment, anti-racism, or general health and welfare as "Communism" or "Socialism."

This is where your error of logic plays in. This is a fallacy. There is not, and never was, any part of the Democrats platform that advocated state ownership of all buisnesses and property, for example, or strict laws governing personal behavior (as Socialist/Communists believe.)

Also, no; the country was NOT founded by those who believe as the Republicans under Trump believe. Trump Republicans want absolute monarchy with a head of state with absolute power, that can act with impunity and no checks and balances. The founders saw this was exactly what they had with the British monarchy, and rebelled against it.

And Trump republicans do NOT want more individual liberty, they want LESS: Laws against reproductive freedom, laws against health choices, laws targeting sexual freedoms, laws targeting freedom of expression, banning books, stronger anti-marijuana laws, laws against freedom of the press, I could go on but you get the idea.

Now, with all the fun weapons we have, hate may destroy our species. We have to give it up.

You've also been told MANY MANY MANY times that "Freedom of expression" doesn't mean "freedom from consequences." But like with most things, you refuse to learn and instead substitute your personal believes as if they're facts when they absolutely are not anything close to factual.

Arguably, this is correct. But one must recall that no one has a corner on idiots. And I represent the unique caveat that there is a very substantial distinction between the left and what Marxists/Trotskyists call the pseudo-left.

As for the right, most will not be reclaimed. Dialogue should be suspended, and the movement itself should be contained, although stochastic violence/terrorism is certainly possible. Under pressure and unable to reproduce, movements tend to display as more radical. This can be misinterpreted as vitality. That is a mistake. It is not. Care must be taken that it does not spill over into broader society. It must die; but it must be allowed to do so of natural causes.

If we survive, there must come a reckoning with how these matters arose. It won't be easy. But it can be healing.

“Both sides” is not just talking about two things. It’s using something moderately bad to deflect criticism of something absolutely awful. For example, claiming that the Republicans and Democrats are both to blame for the problems we face in the U.S. today when it’s almost entirely the Republicans.

Or claiming that Hamas and Israel are both to blame for the war in Gaza when it’s almost entirely Hamas.
