But I would make the argument that just because evil men enjoy evil stories about women being tortured, doesn't make it okay to write evil stories where men are tortured.

Now in the proper context (when the torture isn't eroticized) I don't mind horror stories that include torture, but I'm gender-neutral on the topic.

As for posting any torture in the LW category (or any section other than non-erotic) I don't think that's problematic, but I do think that putting torture in a story automatically eroticizes the torture in question.

Case in point? Your aforementioned Erotic Horror story which separates the sex from the violence. As long as it truly is separate, I'd be okay matter of the category you placed it in.

No torture is okay if its eroticized, men or women and I have never said it is nor have I ever written torment for titillation, so regardless of who is doing it to who it needs to be in a non erotic category or a category like horror-maybe non human as well-where you can expect to have some nasty violence with the fun stuff, but even there the two should have a dividing line "Torture/kill" then go home and have celebratory sex. The story therefore contains both elements, but not together.

LW is an erotic category and the BTB authors are writing the torture for arousal-and seeing you're so obsessed with bringing up men, some do have the lover the wife was with being tortured/killed as well-so it applies to both although the majority of the abuse is aimed at women. That audience is aroused and excited by that, and those stories should be moved-if the site gave a flying fuck about it made up rule-to non erotic or NN or better yet, banned.

That is the point I continue to make that you and NTH can't seem to wrap your heads around. Yes, I hate certain types of men and readily admit it, and it shows in my writing(and has reared its head in my real life) but my writing is never where it shouldn't be because I'm looking for people to be happy a d-bag got theirs, but not to sexually get off on it. The people in LW have a pathological hatred of women and they eroticize that hate.

See the difference? Hope so because I'm done with the topic and trying to play morality games with someone who writes and is obsessed with NC.

I was just trying to state my ideals for where/if those things should be posted/written.
