So, it is no secret it is a stressful time, with many difficulties and changes. However, they say every cloud has a silver lining. I know and do see so many people struggling, but I am also seeing so many positives to the current situation. I would like to hear how the new normal has also changed your life for the better, so please chime in.

Most of all, the biggest thing I see, that if we could actually continue to do this, we completely change our country only for the better, and I wish more than anything that it would stay, reduced class size. Children are crammed into classrooms with only one instructor in most cases and it is just not possible to focus on all of them. The lower income an area is, the more kids are crammed together, the less they learn, the more the area becomes lower income. I remember way back when I was a preschool teacher. The most functional my room was, was the end of the day when I only had my aftercare kids, and it got even better when I gave my notice, because I also tossed out the rule book. My son is not a fan of school, he finds it painfully boring, and he isn’t wrong. At this point, it is basically a sit down and shut up environment. He was pleasantly surprised. Turns out when the class size is cut in half, the class is more interactive. There is time for thoughts, opinions, discussions, and one on one time. I can almost imagine the future of a country that prioritized education, built schools, and hired employees to staff for small classrooms everywhere. At least we can experience it now and make the most of the time we have.

Anyway, what is your silver lining?

Just catching up on the weekend posts as I have had a busy one and stressful one with work. You continue to arouse and excite me. Loving the new nail pics, and for some reason, I saw your legs and had a sudden urge to just caress them... is that good or bad? I think it would be good ;)

Then...

Well this is all the pictures of my nails that I have taken, but maybe I will take me. Though, I feel a ramble coming on.

About the only silver lining I have, is that I found a new restaurant I really like. We would order from a different place once a week and found a new place we really like. Sadly, that's about it. I was suppose to go home to Canada for 2 weeks this year to visit friends and family. Now I have no idea when that will ever happen, so this has been just a terrible time for me personally. All I hope for is the best silver lining... a vaccine.

A new restaurant is something. And carts not sticky, carts not sticky. I do hope it improves for you.

Most things seem the same. Finding a parking spot at work is easy, because very few people are working.

Silver lining? I had more time With my kids at home then in a very long time. We have dinner together every night now, at the table.
