You were looking for a way inside, and as you were talking a guy set off three flares twice. Now you're seeing a jet that used to be used by the old Justice League going over and landing near where those flare shots went up.

Might be worth investigating, mais non?

On an unrelated note the Wonder Woman trailer makes me ridiculously happy and gives me so much hope for the DC movie universe. Whoever wrote what bits of dialogue there were deserves full-on snogging for getting a confident warrior princess right. Also, I don't know near enough about Barry Allen to be an appropriate judge, but the one portrayed in the Justice League trailer made me grin. However, they should have shown a hell of a lot more Victor Stone.

You might want to edit your post so that he just flies north in peregrine form. GRID and Velocity can both run to catch up, though GRID's top speed is currently 60ish mph.

Sorry if that was unclear. I hoped the maps would help with knowing where people were.

I wasn't really excited for the DC movies untilthose trailerscame out, and now I've watched them about 12 times each! They make me happy, and definitely show better grasps of the characters than Batman v Superman.

It would depend how far Static got into the displacement effects before he had to turn back and decide to hoof it, and how far he turned back. But a case could be made for the museum's releasing a fresh belch of flame up like a signal fire, which, together with the sound might be enough to prompt Static from his single-minded path.
