Justice League: The New Wave (OOC - Interest Check)

I like the angle. I had some thoughts along those lines. The best curses are those the cursed views as a blessing. Imagine if it gets to like 7 or 8 lives, you might end up as some sort of mostly cat feral beast. Each death erasing that much more of your humanity. It fits within the Void Binding mythos.

This is exactly the angle Chas and I kind of went into here.... I do have to admit with this being a D.C. thread, I sort of saw Tigra from Marvel... But with Thea hanging with the rogues, Cheetah is about right. Making the curse a slow tragedy....
 
I always thought that Cheetah would make an excellent hero if she ever got over the blood-for-the-blood-god routine.

Also one time she was voiced by Claudia Black and that gave me happy goosebumps.
 
I liked that version of Cheetah. They did not portray her as a dumb animal. Claudia voicing her was a big bonus........

I had intended the Rogues as just NPCs for this event, but I'm intrigued by the idea of keeping them around longer for Thea's character arc to progress.

Hmmm.
 
We've had to bring The New Justice League to a dark place, here.

But it is my hope that we won't solve future problems by just killing our enemies.

Perhaps Nightwing's influence can help us do that.

Perhaps even his... leadership?

Okay.

If people want to keep batting clean-up, that's absolutely viable.

I think tags remain for Raven-- from Carin, recruiting more help to herd people to safety-- and Renegade-- who's being defended by G.R.I.D. as s/he lays there in the process of undying.

We've worked hard to give kizkiz and Kiz the opportunity to rip out the source of The Bestowed's power, and I say the time is ripe for him to do that very thing.

Does anyone else have any questions going forward?

Absolutely.

Close to the center, he'd run a risk of popping like a bird on a wire, but with supreme effort I think he could manage it.

I'm leaving Rocket and Captain Thunder in for now even though I haven't heard from UnseenMaiden in a while, just in case she can come back in, because her characters were exquisite.

But here Thea is on the list for the first time, sorry, I should have done that ages ago.
