No the evacuations are happening mainly along the coast line. I'm actually in the middle. We're expected to get hurricane force winds however and lots of rain and possible flooding.

I got soaked twice today already. First this morning when I went to get some sandbags.

Then again this afternoon when me and the fam took a bunch of stuff to storage so I can get my car into the garage.

It's prob going to start to hit us in the next few hours and the last of it is due to leave by 9 pm Friday

Well the good news is that we never lost power here. So far as we know no damage to the house, wating for them to lift the cerfew which will be at around 0700 in the morning before I can get out and about again.

No attic here, just a crawl space. That's looking good so far as well.

That would have been a Hell of an exit for Kiz. And I would have been very sorry to see him go.

It would be OP under a lot of circumstances, though I also consider this is a world with a Ghost Rider, and thousands of Green Lanterns out in space each with a potentially-omnipotent weapon on their extremity, and countless Dials scattered across The Multiverse. It also occurs to me that the sheer level of the cosmic forces Kiz was accessing would result in an equally cosmic finale-- were he not accessing forces of that level, the climax wouldn't have been nearly so powerful.

Var and I'll need to keep walking the tightrope, though, making sure there's enemies powerful enough for the big guns without leaving our street-level people out in the cold. I've never had particularly good balance, but hopefully we'll make it across.

Also Chass, you and Var have been doing a great job so far. Had me feeling worried about how to deal with the Ajarkar/Ajarjar/Big guys, but we managed to work it out and along with your writing skills it's been a blast so far.
