Perhaps hilariously, my hypothetical nerd jewelry would include the Green, Blue, and Indigo Lantern Rings alongside a Flight Ring, so that'll show you what sides we'd be on in a War of Light. Oh no! :eek:

Heh, I neglected to mention my Flash ring too. :D And my Batgirl/man necklace the kids got me on Mother's Day.
 
Not so sure I am digging this season of the Flash or not........... But then too it is only episode 2......
 
I'm just hoping tomorrow night gets me with a better feeling........ After all, JSA? Lurves me some JSA..... And I am also wondering if they are going to try to merge Super girl into the Arrowverse.....

I remember reading that they were going to do that. They just never said how they were going to do it.

I must say I did enjoy seeing Tom Felton.

There's a few things at play in my head. One thing is that Kiz is sure whoever is behind this is watching them all, so he isn't in a hurry to show off. And might be playing things up a bit. Second, if you'll indulge me with a metaphor...its like a fire hose in that it doesn't matter how much water in is in the tank, only so much water can go through the hose at a time. Which is why I've tried to balance out how much stuff can be out at any given time. Third, since I peg Kiz around or above a Kryptonian / Solar Exlated in power level, he can recharge when in proximity to his power-up element, which since its the Void is a bit odd...But in Exalted they have a few vehicles to charge up. For him, since he has no "RL Element" its more like just chilling out and meditating. In Buddhism, the goal is emptiness to an extent, so I viewed it sort of like that. So he doesn't have an active recharge option, but his passive recharge rate is higher. I could go into more details, as its related to the stuff in Demon's Punish and 2 other related stories I'm working on. Fourth, since he's not motivated to overextend himself unless Lisa (which is really hard) or Rose are in mortal danger, he's not likely to go Super Sayan, as he always expects a more powerful foe to emerge when its least convienent so he's usually most worried about managing his downside risk. Which are many convienent reasons to be a powerful badass but also to try and not overshadow everyone else either. Or go too much into the I Am Not Left Handed. It's a fine balancing act.

My plan was to have him limp along with the Glider / Lasher staff. I wanted to bring back out Elivágar, because it's developed into a much cooler weapon than the Lasher Staff so far...although in my head I always have Kiz teleporting around attacking with the Lasher Staff. I think the Lasher Staff is just a really decent all around weapon/ability set to have out, especially when really taxed like he is now.

Not sure if it is obvious or not what's going on behind the scenes to be taxing Kiz, but I'd planned on explaining it later during the wrap up of this arc. It seemed to fit better from a story perspective. A little twist.

Thoughts? Questions? Comments? Concerns? Feedback?

I would be okay with him limping along and the Rogues providing him covering fire and air support while he's in standby mode.

Or he could stay behind and recharge under Lisa's care and she could bring him to the scene of the next big clash when he's recuperated a little?

Did Kiz have to collapse the ley-tunnel in order to perform the big binding on Ravana? If not, he could chill in there for a few minutes and recoup his Void a little faster that way?

I remember you mentioning that Dream's implanting M'gann's heart into Rose was like unto Void-Binding. Could he tap into that some how for a quick recharge?

As for whether the reason for his extreme fatigue was obvious, you've mentioned a few times that he hasn't slept for days, and he has been working really hard kicking ass for the sake of the plane and the planet. If there's more than that, I haven't picked up on it. Looking forward to the twist, though!
 
And after tonight's episode I could see this thread getting a Legends of Tomorrow spin off. Love the fact that it was Mick getting the band back together.....

Okay, good. I think that one keeps me as a player/writer from getting too bored.

Yes it was collapsed, although I don't think it was as obvious to most writers. He basically banished everything that was slurping his power, so he could focus on Ravana.

Yeah, there's something there around souls and exposure to them, but that might be a target place to go...harvesting souls and/or luxuratingin their presence.

Great! I'm terrible at surprises, but if I can hold out from spilling the beans here, I think it'll be neat to tie up the 3rd chapter with that.
 
My goal is to get caught up today after having been swamped IRL, and to get us moving in the direction of the final fight.
