Dems also don't go around with a huge evangelical base either or proclaim themselves the party of morality, family values and the like. The Democrats never claimed that and certainly unlike the GOP are not hung up on demonizing people. The GOP is so in bed with the evangelicals that they have proven what Madison said 247 years ago or so, that when you mix church and state you get a corrupted church and an oppressive state.

Someone I follow on you tube predicted exactly what Leavitt would do when leavitt was named press secretary. She said that leavitt would be with Trump for a couple of years, then she would get pregnant and would leave to 'focus on her children'. She said then in a couple of years Leavitt will run for office, having burnished her credentials for 'sacrificing her career' for her family.
