I watched the 2nd half of the Navy and Boston College game friday afternoon. The clean cut, well behaved kids from Navy made me proud. I hated to see BC kick the last sec. field goal for the win. As far as Mich and So Cal. Don't guess we will be hearing the Mich fans bragging about being #2 anymore? I have forgotten. Did Purdue win their bowl game?

Go Big Blue, and congrats to your football Cards. The basketball Cards are getting their asses bashed on WHAS as we speak. Me thinks it is still early in the season and Petino will eventually get them playing some pretty good ball by the end of the season. My WildCats aren't all that great. Barely got by a mediocre Houston last night? The Frosh have saved them several times. Without the Frosh the Cats might not have a 500 record.
We are probably gonna have to encourage each other and prop each other up a lot this season. Not a good time to bash each other. lol. I don't like doing that anyway.

You're a man after my own heart. I can't stand the Notre Dame hype and all the coverage they get during the regular season. You'd think nine consecutive bowl losses would tell the BCS people that they "aren't all that."

Now I must admit a schoolgirl crush on Notre Dame basketball when Kelly Tripucka played there.

I'm with you. I'm not a hater. I generally pull for UK when they're not playing UofL, especially in football. I really am glad to see that UK has turned the corner with their football program.

In hoops, the Cards suck. I'm fed up with Pitino. I'm tired of all of his talking, and all of his lack of results. Wouldn't bother me a bit if he's fired at the end of this season.

I think UK will be ok. They took some lumps to some good teams early, but you can see steady improvement in the team. They have more growing to do, but they'll be fine come March. I don't think UK has the talent to win the SEC this year, but's that's not an insult. There's a lot of good teams in the SEC. I do think UK has a legitimate shot at being a sweet 16 team by March.

I fully expect the Cards to be in the NIT come March.
