Pete hated the annual family reunions. His extended family was huge; he had eleven aunts and uncles, with an accumulated 50+ kids between them. And, with them living in a total of six different states, he seldom saw any of his cousins except at the summer vacation, Thanksgiving weekend, or Christmas day get togethers; it was uncomfortable for him, having to hang out with all of these strangers and act like he knew them as family.

And then he saw her. He didn't recognize her and thought that maybe she wasn't a cousin; she could have been a friend of a relative, come to Madson Madness Summer Camp Out because she had nothing better to do with her own family back home, where ever that was.

She was his age, give or take, shapely with a narrow waist, handful-sized breasts -- that were tantalizingly revealing their pert nipples through her thin tee shirt -- and athletic legs well revealed by cut off jeans that would have been both too tight and too short for Pete's mother's taste. And that ass... my god, he'd never seen such an absolutely perfect butt in all of his life.

He wasn't sure whether it was the presumption that his mother wouldn't want him near this Goddess or that body, but Pete was making his way toward the girl almost instantly, carrying a can of cola in one hand and a fruity concoction in the other, hoping that one or the other would be what she needed to wet her whistle.

As he closed on her, taking note that no one seemed to be showing either of them any particular attention, he continued to survey the young beauty. She had a head of strawberry blond curls and flawless fair skin with just enough freckles to count as such; the tight, cropped tee revealed a small dangling bobble at her belly button, and just before she turned to face him, he caught sight of what he thought was a tattoo partially hidden by the low-riding waist of the shorts, but he didn't get enough of a look to either see what the ink was or whether it was a permanent mark or not.

"Hi," he said simply to her, shoving both of the drinks out before him. A bit of Gramma Madson came out in him when he said to her, "You look parched. Soda...? Fruity thingy, or ... what ever it is...? Oh... I'm Pete."

Jody had been travelling most of her life with her father, who was in the military. He had long ago had a fling with Theresa Madson, and the ending result was Jody... The thing of the matter was Theresa wasn't ready to have children and instead of aborting their child, Mark had offered to raise the child on his own.

So when Jody was born, Theresa relinquished all parental rights over to Mark... It wasn't until after Jody turned 9 that Theresa wanted to know more about her and Mark's child. Mark wasn't heartless about the matter. He had been shipped over seas to serve in Italy since Jody was 5. He wanted to keep Theresa updated on their daughter's progress and when the time came, he would send Jody home with Theresa for a few weeks out of the year.

Now, here she was, spending her first summer with her mother's side of the family. It was overwhelming but she liked the fact that she had an extended family. Her father's side of the family only consisted of one Uncle who was in jail and a grandmother who lived in a nursing home. Her father had finally married a few years ago and Jody adorned her father's wife. She was more of a mother than her own mother... not that Theresa was mean in anyway, it's Jody didn't feel as comfortable with Theresa as she did was Penelope.

So, here Jody was, sweating it out in muggy, hot weather, talking to some new cousins she'd never knew existed and vice versa. A few times Jody had met someone on her mother's side during the other times when she was visiting but most of them were still strangers to her.

One of her cousins, Mary? She was sure that was her name, had told a joke that Jody did not get at all but she laughed with the rest of the group just not to feel left out. Life between the US and what Jody considered her home, Pordenone, Italy, was extremely different and so she did her best to adapt. She was about to excuse herself when she turned and saw someone looking at her.

At her quick glance, she didn't recognize the young man, who seemed around her age, if not a little older. He had blonde shaggy hair, sort of like the skater type, toned body, perhaps he played some sport? He was tanned but not overly, taller than her, at least 6'0" and his smile, wow...

When he smiled at her, there were two little dimples that appeared on his face that Jody was sure slain many girls.

"Hi, You look parched. Soda...? Fruity thingy, or ... what ever it is...? Oh... I'm Pete."

If there was one thing Jody hated, was her accent, she knew she had one. Her second language she spoke fluently was Italian, as well as French and German, all thanks to her Dad. Smiling, she took the soda from Pete, "Thank you Pete, I'm Jody." She held out her hand, offering him a hand shake.

The friendly smile on his lips spread with delight at the sound of her accent; he saw it as a definite sign that she wasn't any relative of his. The Madson's may have been spread far and wide across the Western United States, but -- even on vacations -- few had ever been any farther away than Chicago or Victoria or maybe Tijuana. This girl ... this beauty was fair game!

He took her hand and gave up the soda, saying, "Nice to meet you, Jody."

They sipped at their drinks for a moment, staring into one another's eyes. She was unbelievable, exotic and erotic. He had to get her away from here, had to get her alone.

He glanced about himself, looking to see who else might be looking ... at them. Surrounded by people, they were totally alone. It was perfect. He glanced toward the nearby woods and the trail leading through it to the various Educational Exhibits set up by some conservation organization. He looked back to her, giving her a knowing smile. "Wanna take a walk?"

In the distance, Jody saw her mother talking to a group of people, she had wanted her daughter to get out there an mingle and so she was definitely doing that.

Nodding at Pete's question, Jody gave him a soft smile, "I would love to.." she told him and turned with him, walking beside him as he led them toward the woods.

It never occurred to Jody that Pete could be a possible relative. In fact, that thought never crossed her mind as she walked with Pete, "So, Pete, I want to thank you back there, you probably don't know it but you rescued me from those awful girls back there. I don't think I could've stood another one of their jokes..."
